So, I went to place an order for the Iron Man Hall of Armor set on Amazon, and between the time I added it to my cart to the time I attempted to check out, it became unavailable. It was listed as a pre-order for $39.99, and then, gone. Anyone else experience this? Has anyone been able to make the order successfully?

I ordered successfully around 4 PM Eastern. I heard they were out by 4:30.

I didn't have most of the armors in the box anyway so it was fine deal for me. I was worried it was going to go for 50 or 60.

Heads up, guys- a lot of the figures from the Elektra wave and the Cloak/Abom wave are now being sold BY Amazon (not just through) at 11.99 and prime eligible. Might be old news, but I just noticed.

If anyone has a Kroger Marketplace near them, those are good places to go to find recent MUs. They currently have the Elektra/Mysterio Wave at the one near me in Richmond, VA. A few months ago they had some old figures (Dr. Strange/Doom) mixed in with the Prof X/Jubilee Wave. Prob worth a look if there is one in your area.

I'll probably pass though. Even though the Mark 42 and RDJ figures are exclusive, its too movie-ish for me.

When I was watching IM3 today, it dawned on me that the Inferno Armor Iron Man from the Armored Avenger line makes a good "Exploding" Mark 42 Killian. I guess that's about as close as we'll get to getting him in 3.75" scale.

Got both my iron man 3 hall of armors in this week 1 on Thursday and the other on Friday also found my second dark elf in as many weeks yesterday at a tru outlet in Nashville Tennessee so all in all been good two weeks for this guy entire wave 1 of Thor at local tru a 2nd elf and two hall of armor been a long time on finds like these lol. Ohh yeah not toys but did get my hulk vs Wolvie salt and pepper shakers in too

Hall of Armor just came in, and looks as you'd expect. Happy to have a fully articulated Mark 42. Not a bad price if you can get it at Amazon retail.

Placed an order for another Hall of Armor set when they went up today. Needed a spare Tony, but now I gotta figure out what the hell I'm going to do with the older IM2 Armors.

 

Also stopped by Fred's looking for Joes and found the last two waves of IM2 (well, the last wave and the first and only wave of Armored Avenger). Snagged one of each Drone and a Stark Racing Armor to headswap with my spare Stark. You know, I only ever found one of the Navy Hammer Drone sets at Target, so my one Navy drone is looking super lonely next to my army of Army/Marine/Air Force/Prototype Drones. It would be awesome if more of those sets would surface somewhere.

I'm still surprised at how long Fury has lasted on HTS. Overproduced or lack of demand? I know it's a bad figure, but it's the only 616 Fury so far.

my grey Hulk and Ghost Rider repaint arrived. I paid $10 for each on ebay so I don't feel too bad about going that route. Anyone see anything new in the Seattle-Tacoma area?
