I need to vent.

 

I cancelled my order with Entertainment Earth and went with BBTS when I saw that BBTS had them in stock. By choosing the cheap shipping, I saved .48 cents over Entertainment Earth's higher price but free shipping.

 

I didn't worry too much about the slow shipping because BBTS is in Wisconsin, and I am in Illinois. They are probably a couple of hours away from me. I didn't think it would take too long.

 

Ok, so FedEx picked up my package and took it to Saint Paul, MN. Minnesota isn't between Wisconsin and Illinois, but I figured it was some sort of shipping hub. Fine. I wasn't worried.

 

Then, it appeared to stay there for a few days until last night, when it arrived in Chicago. Now, when I first placed the order, my delivery date was Tuesday; it then quickly changed to Friday. When I saw it had arrived and left Chicago last night, I hoped that I'd get it today. I live about an hour outside of Chicago.

I woke this morning to find that my package is now in New Berlin, Wisconsin. That's right: IT IS BACK IN WISCONSIN!!!!

 

How does this make sense? How could it go from Wisconsin to Minnesota to Chicago back to Wisconsin? The package has probably passed my house twice by now. Are they doing this deliberately because I paid for the slow shipping? Is this just more Wisconsin evil?

I don't think it's Wisconsin evil, I think it is FedEx evil. If I had a nickle for everytime FedEx screwed me over...

FedEx sucks donkey balls. It isn't any more complicated than that. I'm never surprised if things are 3-5 days behind with them. I can usually set my watch (if I had one) by UPS and the mail. I always try to avoid FedEx.

Well damn, I missed everyone on HTS. Had a bit of a financial emergency pop up and had to cancel my BBTS order. I could have done $70 on HTS though. Hopefully the wave one set will still be in stock when I get paid this Friday.

Gah!!!! They finally put them up on a crazy busy day when I didn't have a chance to check. Now there's only "normal" Sandman left -- which I want, but not nearly as much as the rest of them (well, except for BT Spidey). Hasbro, please put them back up again (and hopefully another time after that, too, so everyone has a good chance of getting them).

At least it shows there's still folks buying them, which gives us that much more of a chance of the line continuing.
