Northstar, Colossus Juggernaut, Emma Frost, Chameleon, Deadpool and Korg are all showing up on Taobao at the moment. Looks like this will be our next wave. The wait is finally over. Only Skurge to go!

Thank you!

Awesome news. Ultron can easily be slotted somewhere else and now we don't have to worry about Kaine being a single figure.

Nice! Depending on the breakdown this might warrant ordering a case, something I haven't done in a while.

.....why, why, why are they wasting plastic on Colossonaut. That figure is ...3 years too late?

Yeah, its something I am not crazy about but if I see it sitting on the pegs I might grab it.

I wish Korg had one open hand to hold a sword - i see army builder potential there

You could cut the half down the hilt super-glue the top part to the top of his fist and the bottom part to the bottom of his fist

Oh, I didn't know the blue and yellow Deadpool was coming with the mask pulled up head. That's neat.

Yeah, it really should never have been made in the first place. Then delaying the release for a couple years? That's Hasbro for ya!

Be quiet, you guys! If Hasbro hears you talking like that, they'll stick the figure in whatever toy limbo has swallowed up everything else they've shown us and failed to give us.

Hhhhmmmm, I wonder if that's where the Magik I desire is residing.

I'm primarily an MU collector but the one Legend I want that looks to be forever lost is the Dani Moonstar from several years back. Still brings a tear to my eye...

well that looks promising! I'm glad to be getting Deadpool, Colossus, Emma and Northstar! Korg and chameleon are cool too. I'm also glad they didn't waste a slot on an Ultron that we don't need. and Kaine is being packaged into a comic pack which is probably more suitable for that figure to sell anyway.

The seller seems to have Ant-Man in the mix as well. Woulnd't be surprising if Hasbro repacked him in the next wave on the heels of the movie.

But if so, that's 7 figures in a 12-figure case, which would mean two are short-packed...

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the Ant-Man. I just took a snip from the seller's page to show the new figures. There were a lot of other figures from past waves on the same page. Ant-Man and Anakin just happened to get caught in the snapshot I took.

I went and got some of the figures from Taobao. All the new ones besides Korg, who really didn't interest me.

Northstar and Colossonaut are fine. Emma Frost looks great. Fantastic painting, a very gravure, glamorous face, well-done hair...different tones of blue for the eyeliner and the lipstick. It looks far less awkward than a lot of the white lipstick variants people have tried on Emma Frost toys and statues in the past.

X-men Deadpool is pretty fun. It's the Deadpool figure we know from XMO:Wolverine.

The disappointing one is Chameleon, I'm afraid. The arms and legs are the ones from the SDCC Destro figure and Professor X, but the new torso is completely terrible. His posture is weird––his chest is puffed forward and he seems to be suffering from scoliosis. The puffed-out chest reaches nearly Liefieldian proportions, and Chameleon's chin comes close to touching the chest.

But the basic problem is the range of flex for posing––the new torso has limited motion of all limbs connected to it. The head cannot tilt up and it can barely tilt down. The arm sockets are blocked on the left and right by the chestpiece, and as a result, Chameleon is not able to move his arms in the same radius as the SDCC Destro figure. What's more, the suit coattails wrap around the hip of the figure, stopping Chameleon from moving his legs forward or backward, or to the left or right at the hips. He can widen his stance a little bit, but you can't pose his legs forward or back at all. There's no neck on the figure, and the figure somehow comes out shorter than the SDCC Destro figure it was based on.

The torso also has a radically different, far glossier texture than the arms and legs. I'm not sure if that's final for how the figure is going to be painted, but if so, that would be another mistake. Still, the limits of the maneuverability are really remarkable, and they didn't need to happen if they just kept to the original buck. Super-lame.

That could well be. I just notice though that the seller seems to have posted the Ant-Man at the same time as the other six with all seven figures sharing a photo background that's different from other MU figures he sells. This proves nothing other than they were presumably listed at the same time. But birds of a feather sometimes flock together...just some food for thought. :)

    • King & Queen: Black Bolt / Medusa - these two need to be redone Evolution: Mar-Vell / Captain Marvel - first appearance Mar-Vell in green and white Kree warrior outfit; other is red and blue Nega-bands costume with interchangeable head for white/blonde hair Enemies: Doctor Strange / Baron Mordo Heroes for Hire: Power Man / Iron Fist - classic versions of Luke Cage and Danny Rand  Nightwing Restorations: Misty Knight / Colleen Wing  West Coast Avengers: Tigra / Wonder Man - red jacket and sunglasses version of Simon Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: male / female - two bodies in tactical blue and gray uniforms, interchangeable heads to create Jimmy Woo, Jasper Sitwell, Clay Quartermain, Phil Coulson (male), and Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Maria Hill, Sharon Carter, Melinda May (female)   There are so, so, soooo many more I could come up with. I also really like the idea of army builder packs for the Skrulls, the Kree, the Mindless Ones, the Leader's Humanoids, Hydra, A.I.M., etc.
    • I love that the Fantastic Four are getting their own wave(s), but I prefer classic looks to modern. Since the Walgreen's exclusive gave us the retro/classic look for Reed and Sue, I'd like to see the other iconic design, the blue and white costumes designed by John Byrne, made famous in the '80s and '90s and in the unreleased Roger Corman movie.   Wave 2 Mister Fantastic - with bendy wire stretchable torso; arms and legs would be good, too, but torso is a must She-Hulk - Fantastic Four costume Mole Man - 3 1/2 inches tall, comes with 2 moloid creatures the size of a Marvel Universe figure Super-Skrull The Wizard Paste-Pot Pete BAF - Annihilus Wave 3 Invisible Woman - in costume, translucent shield effect like the new toy has Human Torch - Johnny Storm in costume, attachable flame effects Namor - reissue with cape and crown, alternate head with more comic-accurate hair and eyebrows Skrull Scientist Mad Thinker Invisible Woman - translucent BAF - Awesome Android Wave 4 Human Torch - flamed on, red body, black lines, yellowish flame effects Crystal - classic yellow Inhumans look Triton -  Diablo Puppet Master Blastaar BAF - Dragon Man Wave 5 Thing - with blue pants Gorgon Triton Titania Firelord Impossible Man BAF - Ronan the Accuser
    • TF is not one franchise it is at least four franchises at the moment.  Also no that they are doing the main members there is no need to release them again in the next wave. They should go back to the old He-Man idea and release main characters once a year, not every wave or in some cases two in every wave
    • True, but I could argue that Transformers is ONE franchise, and you may get 4 or 5 more waves throughout a given year. FF is only one of MANY franchises under the Marvel banner, every one of which must be serviced. There's no guarantee there will be another FF wave anytime soon, so you have to get your big guns up there right off. That's probably why, after waiting so long, Hasbro is suddenly hitting us with 90s X-Men left and right. Lord knows when we'll get another X-Wave.
