The only paint I had to use was Acrylic paint and it was called Metallic Silver Sterling. It was paint my girlfriend's brother had and he gave it to me because I said I had to run and get some paint to paint the helmet. It worked wonders and it has a metal look to it after applying a couple good coats. I'd say most other painters wouldn't use Acrylic paint but for something like his helmet it worked for me.

Couldn't stand how plain the new 6 inch Thor's Helmet was so I decided to paint it a shiny silver. The dull pencil lead grey they used was a bad choice.

It's just the angle and the helmet that make him appear cross eyed. It actually isn't in person.

Onyx you're right but I don't think you can really tell unless you have it on close inspection. I think the 275 wolverine may have the best xbelt for molds but it's a pretty big symbol. Colossus's symbol I think is a good size not too big or small but may be a bit hard to mold. I went ahead and made a mold from the cyclops belt but have yet to try it out.

Onyx. I actually and working on turning MU Astonishing Wolverine into his current outfit and I took the X from the Warpath belt from the X-Force pack Warpath (using him for parts since I already have X-Force Warpath). It fits and looks perfect scale wise. And it's round. How about that one? It would be a perfect fit for anyone trying to do any current X-Men uniforms with the X on the left chest/shoulder region of the characters.

I bought a Invaders Red Skull and X-Force Archangel on Ebay, but they came without accesories.

Having read about Shapeways on other forums, I decided to give it a try and make some replacement accesories for the figures:

For Red Skull, I made a cosmic cube and luger pistol.

Luger unpainted:

Luger painted grey:

I ordered 2 of the cubes and painted one translucent blue:

I gave my regular Archangel's wings to the X-Force, and made folded ones for the regular:

Painted silver:

With X-Force Archangel:

I also made some guns with silencers for Black Widow, because I think the gun she came with, isn't spy enough
