I was inspired by my friend Iacon's stealth Spidey I decided to make my own using the Glider Spidey from the Spidey 3.75 line (after loosing the auction on his the other night)

 

here are some wip shots of how I did the lines to make it a little bit less annoying to paint the lines.

 

First paint the detail area white. One coat will do since you aren't trying to paint it white white, just cover the underlying color so that your desired color will show up better

 

Then paint the details in the desired color. They don't need to be exactly precise just close enough to the final design that it'll guide the more precise painting of the main color. This allows for much less back, and forth between the main, and detail colors.

 

And now with out further ado my rendition of Stealth Spidey

I'm thinking about painting the details on his glider too.

 

*edit I hate ball joints! I just posed him, and the green scraped off of the ball joint.

I have a question,

 

I've looked around how do you make custom flames?

Wrap some tin foil over whatever you want the flames to cover, then add dabs of hot glue. Let it dry, remove the tin foil and paint.
