Here's a custom I've been kicking around for quite some time. My son always wants more bad guys from the Avengers cartoon. So here he is a Master of Evil Abomination.

He is made from a Secret Wars Thing and a lot of Sculpty. Thanks for looking and as always comments are appreciated.

My son is exactly the same way. You did a great job.

Hey everyone. I've been lurking for a little while and I finally registered an account here. I've just tried my hand at a few customs and I'm sort of learning the ropes to working with such a small scale. Anyway, I figured I'd show off my first creation here. I wanted to make an Iron Man with a cooler paint scheme and a unique look, but I sort of ended up making something that looks more like a villain:

I've also started working on a Scarlet Spider, although considering today's news about Hasbro releasing a MU Scarlet Spider this year I'm sort of hesitant to finish him. Here's what I've got so far:

What do you guys think? If I continued to work on it I'd still need to touch up the paint and sculpt his belt and leg pouches. Also I've been considering giving him a paint wash with black to add detail, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. Any help and critiques would greatly be appreciated.

hey legends, how did you do those wolverine claws?

I just cut up some bobby pins, drilled small hole in the hands, super glued them in then apoxied and painted.

Brym - Like I said on O.P.P. great job! Love the sculpting

Dellamorte - Your Scarlet Spider looks great! I say finish him up regardless if Hasbro releases one down the road. I made one a while back and still consider it one of my favorite customs.

They look great espeacially for first tries. For more help, critiques (more like tips and tricks for future use that critical comments) check out O.P.P. (an awesome customizer website). There is a link in my signature.

my apologies if picture quality isn't the best, I suck at taking photos....

Red Skull,

ROC destro (like most, thanks to whoever started that idea) heavy reworked head sculpt built on a old fish corpse fossil head acc. (I kid you not) from some forgotten 6-8 inch horror toy....

Hi gang. Sorry it's been a while since I posted anything new. Here are a few minor tweaks I worked up. First, Multiple man in a coat, so I can have a defined "main" Madrox:

Madrox02.jpg

The coat is from a DCIH Commisioner Gordon, with arms from Indiana Jones.

Next, Phoenix. Regular Ol' Non-Dark Phoenix. I'm surprised I haven't seen more of these...

Phoenix01.jpg

Finally, Hydra Agents

I could accept the fact that they didn't have skirts, but the lack of bug-eyes and exposed mouths really annoyed me. So I swpped on the heads from some DCIH Blue Beetles. They all have sort of goofy expressions, but it works for me.

More coming soon, I promise. One of the frustrating things about seeing pics from Toy Fair is having to abandon planned/in-the-works projects.

Dang Lazy nice work! I absolutely love what you did with the Hydra Agents! i was thinking the same thing how they just dont look right stock but yours came out perfect, great job!

(I know that the GLC is DC not Marvel, but I'm using MU/IM2 figs to make some of them so I figure it fits)

Well my parts for the GLs from earth haven't arrived yet, however I've been working on some of the other GLs. So far I've made Stel from sector 3009:

Nice work Guys. Love them all. Tiger that Kitty is my personal favorite of yours.

Rod keep them Green Lanterns coming.

Lazy great job on all of them you beat me to the punch with that Phoenix I've been putting her off for almost two months.

DK love the Skull, I'll be waiting to see what the Cap line brings us.

Dellamorte great start, keep up the good work.

Here is my latest. I am tired of not finding a Skrull at a reasonable price (one of the very few I have never seen in the wild), so i decided to make my own.

Here is the Skrull Queen as well a Skrull Trooper

Queen is Spider-Woman with some sculpty and paint

Trooper is a Moon Knight body with an O.P.P. Skrull head.

This is just the begining, more to come.

Has anyone tried to do a black panther custom? Since the two pack one was kind of short, not-so-good coloring and such, and the single carded one was lacking some points of articulation, I was just wondering if anyone has done a custom to resolve these issues. Thanks!
