Cuatom Eric O'Grady

Hey guys I'm working on a Antman Secret Avenger Style Eric O'Grady with a friend of mine and were having trouble finding a suitable head and helmet. So I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestion. Thank in advance for any help you guys can provide

I did this Hank Pym custom a while back used a G.I. Joe full face helmet from the PIT Commando figure, Recently redid the antennae with some smalled gauge wire looks better now.

Thanks for the comment. Practice is what it takes. Just start doing it ask for tips you'll be surprised what you can do. Don't be discouraged if they don't look like Legend's first time out.

Yes, but heat it up first (preferably with boiling water for 20 seconds) and then put it on and let it cool and form. The Joe figs offer a great variety of parts, but the heads need to be heated in order to properly sit on the MU necks, otherwise they sit there and just are a little loose.

I agree with Brym, its all about practice. With every custom completed, good or bad, you will always improve on the next one for sure. You will pick up tricks, what works and what doesn't along you way. My early work was straight up garbage but that didnt discourage me, just tried to improve next time around.

Btw Brym your Antman is SICK!! Definitely on another level with that custom!

Here is my Avengers:EMH variant Wasp figure. Mostly a repaint of the mini Wasp figure that came in the SW 2-pack with some sculpty for the skirt and the Hair/earpieces.

Well I finally got my RoC RiA figures in today, and got started right away.

For Hal I went w/ an armored look to his classic uniform

Head: PoC Dusty

body, arms, and upper legs: RoC RiA Duke

lower legs: 25th crimson guard

For John I went for his modern look w/ a little bit of the armor detail painted to show the shape of the armor

Head: RoC Ripcord

body, upper arms, and upper legs: RoC RiA Ripcord

lower arms: MU Namor modded to have to swivel elbow

lower legs: 25th crimson guard

For Guy I went w/ his modern look for his hair style, and I painted his ring to be like the Honor guard ring he wears

Head: RoC Duke

body, and lower arms: RoC Paris Pursuit Stormshadow

upper arms, and upper legs: RoC RiA Duke

lower legs: 25th crimson guard

For Kyle who has had so many different suits I decided I had to be a little creative. So using elements of each suit he's worn I combined them to make a suit that I think really pops. He has the Ion era logo, and mask, the current shape to the green area of his chest, and the classic arm, and leg armor. I also gave Kyle the honor guard ring.

Head: 25th Gen Hawk

body, upper arms, and upper legs: RoC RiA Duke

lower arms, and lower legs: MKIII IM

Wow. Your Corps looks fantastic! For reasons I can't explain, I'm especially impressed with your Guy Gardner. I never would have looked at those pieces for GG, but it definitely works.

This head is actually too small for a Hulk but I plan to do something similar with a Hulk head.

I was lucky with my Vision, I got it a month after his release for 8 dollars shipped. Really, the only figures I wasn't lucky enough to find were Mystique and Warpath, and even then I want the new Warpath instead of X-Force.
