Great job Grui.

Hey Rod! Can i call you that Sir Rodimus?

Have you considered casting hair?

would you be able to cast hair that would be more flexible/softer than MU hair?

Sir Rodimus? Sure I guess.

As for the hair question yes I can cast the long hair about as soft as the MU figures hair maybe a touch softer. Though right now it's looking like it'll be another week or so before I can order any more mold material.

Here are a couple of new products I'm adding to my store

Will wasp, Will squirrel, and Rage kitty set

Here's the set all painted w/ some GL figures

Bough some SW for unique heads and was left with out of scale bodies so decided to turn one into Anole.

Still a WIP but other than touchups there's not much more to do than create a head.

Also. yellow seems to be a real tough color paint for me.. it always looks like crap on my figures. Anyone else have trouble with yellow?

Moonstar, and Anole look great!

Diabolical here's a trick for painting yellow. Instead of doing 5 coats of yellow do one coat of flat white, or primer gray, and then go over that w/ a coat or two of yellow.

Thanks Soundwave, I bet you're right. I'm thinking about trying to upgrade some of the GLs to be more articulated.

Hey does anybody out there have both the Loki from the Gigantic Battles exclusive and the new Loki from the Avengers movie line? Has anybody tried popping the head from the GB Loki onto the Avengers figure Loki?

I really like the armor of the movie figure (if not the articulation) but I'd like to do a kitbash with a more comic-accurate head and want to see if it will actually work before I go to the trouble of snagging that MU Loki, either loose online or by getting that new 4-pack that's coming out.

Thanks guys!

trying to reduce the amount of custom fodder I have so I made some shield agents.

the shield agent in the back and on the left is unaltered.

the one in the back and on the right is just a taller version.

the chick was a joe scarlett with a maria hill wannabe head.

the guy on the right is a repaint of concept han solo aka George lucas agent of shield.

Hey folks, I've been picking up extra new sculpt MU bodies so I can undo the injustice that was DCIH.

Here's what I've got so far:

JLA.jpg

Superman: Wonderman head, Cyclops body, Daredevil boots, Star Wars Crimson Empire figure cape

Batman: Movie Batman head, Bullseye body, Cyclops belt, Star Wars cape

Flash: Bullseye head, DD body, Cyclops boots

Green Lantern: Han Solo Head, Bullseye body

Now maybe the DCU can stand toe to toe with the Marvel Universe

But we all know Marvel's cooler in the long run.

Other Crossover Potential
