That worries me as well since Walmart had the 10th anniversary figures for so long.  The Iron Spider/Iron Man set is my top one that I am interested in, but I would like to see as many as I can in person before pulling the trigger.

I think its a Target exclusive and in my experience most of those get pretty well-stocked and aren't too rough to find if you are willing to pay full price... i think Gamorrean Guard was the only one i didn't see at least 4-5 of in the store... but he was extremely popular and many people wanted 2.

Aw man, I was just in San Diego last month on business, and Optimus' PSA made me wish I was going back for the convention.  If any of you folks are headed out there, try to see some of the city as well!  It's friggin' gorgeous!

I tried to wait for the Gamorrean Guard to go on sale, but they disappeared quickly so I missed out.  I’m definitely picking up the Iron Spider/Iron Man set when I see it.

Awh. They're on sale for my bro's bday 💙 It's trying to tell me to buy one in his honor. I'll try to get the Collector 2-pack. He's always liked those characters from the comics.

I’m sure I’ve overlooked this, but what’s the street date for the 80th Iron Man/Thor figures? I checked back at a Target today and got some sass from the stockboy about street dates. He, however, didn’t know what said street date was, and refused to even check the DPCI unless there was a tag for them in the aisle. It was, uh, fun.

I wanna say i read a similar anecdote about someone doing this at a TRU in Canada and the clerk showed him the date but they forgot what it was, but thought it was sometime this week.  That's really annoying though because other people have bought Iron Man at Target so it feels like any street date has already been blown at this point

that set won't be availible in retail. it's a fan channel exclusive. It might be available in comic and specialty stores though.

Yes I am aware. I also never said it was coming to retail so not sure what part of my post you’re trying to clarify here...

Just a heads up the 80th Iron Man/Iron Spider set will also be available through EE. There’s going to be some news regarding Target & EE at SDCC.

I heard a July 18th street date for the Colossus/Juggernaut 2-pack at TRU. Perhaps they all share the same street date?

Like many who saw the SDCC  Hasbro poster of the recreation of the Jim Lee X-Men #1 cover.  I can't wait for the  "Love Triangle" set to come out and get that new Jean Grey and complete my 90's Gold Team!!!

Really hoping that Jean comes with a second head with a ponytail. My wish of orange/blue didn't happen so I'm hoping I get one of two.

Got War Machine from Amazon yesterday.  Definitely my favorite of the wave, a nice stand in for a comic War Machine as well! Like everyone else I can't wait for that new Jean that IGN showed off yesterday either.

Went to target here in southeast MA and no dice on any 80th anniv stuff yet.  They did have some good black series stuff (the 2 evil droids from the comics, Chopper. and young Obi Wan) but i'm just more focused on marvel stuff right now. Also don't know about you guys but i think my target has fully given up on DC multiverse, the last new figures from that line was that 2-pack for the Aquaman movie, and they didn't even carry the Trench critter wave nor Shazam/Sivana - although they had the more basic line type stuff.  Saw the latest Stranger things figures, tbh the likenesses seem worse than in the previous waves, dunno whats up with that.

Just went to my local EB and the dude who works there, went into the back for me and brought out tons of 80th Anniversary stuff, Thor, Iron Man, Wolvie & Hulk Pack, Hela & Skurge Pack and Luis & Ghost Pack, I bought Hulk & Wolvie, Iron Man and Thor, but I sadly couldn't take them home with me because of the damn street Date but I can go back and secure them on Friday so Yeah, plus pre-ordered Anti-Agent Venom with them

So Friday is the street date? Not Thursday? What are the prices? How about Colossus/Juggernaut?

    • The only reuse in this wave is the three comic figures and the legs on the BAF. Also MAYBE Yelena and Widow’s legs, I can’t tell on that. But Taskmaster and Red Guardian are 100% new, along with above the legs on Widow, Yelena and Crimson Dynamo. Widow and Yelena share the same (new) arms. Honestly, I was really disappointed in the faces, and yeah, they’re not perfect, but they’re much better looking in more high-red images. Still not perfect, though.
    • I know you said "a wave".  I'mma do two.  Because we need two.  You're not the boss of me. Wave 1: The Captain / Classic U.S. Agent  We need two heads here: one stoic and heroic for Steve, and one kind of snarling for John. Bucky  Classic sidekick version.  The original Hasbro effort needs to be put in it's proper place.  And it's proper place is tied to some firecrackers on the 4th of July. Diamondback  Interchangeable heads for her long hair and short hair looks. Baron Heinrich Zemo  With a canister of Adhesive X, natch. The Red Skull  In his Golden Age green jumpsuit duds.  And yeah, give him a swastika.  Donate a portion of the proceeds to the Anti-Defamation League, the ACLU, or the dang Salvation Army.  Whatever you gotta do. Machinesmith  Human-looking in his yellow jumpsuit.  Then give him an interchangeable robot part or two to make the point: a head, a hand, whatever. Bushmaster  Because he's a snake monster man. BAF: Armadillo  He's the popular choice for a reason.  Who am I to argue?               Wave 2: Armored Captain America  Because I love things that are stupid. D-Man  D-Man was in the first actual issue of Captain America I ever read.  He holds a very special place in my heart. Falcon  You know, I'd take just about any version of his red & white duds with equal glee.  Maybe I'd prefer the hard light wings ever so slightly over one of the more classic looks, but that's only because I've still got my old Toybiz version. Asp  I love that slinky white dress she wears. Baron Helmut Zemo  Classic Masters of Evil look. Master Man  I know, I know.  He's got a giant swastika on his chest.  It's not gonna happen.  Don't care. Death Adder  Because he's another snake monster man, and one of my favorite villain designs of all time. BAF: Sleeper Robot  There's so many cool ones to choose from, and some are more realistic options than others.  I might go with the one posted above, but I love old-timey robots with big clanky feet and robo-claws and swastikas painted on them so you know that they're programmed for fascism and evil.
    • The "deluxe" Archangel is $29.99 on Amazon right now.   If you're a Prime member and can get it shipped for free that's the best price I've seen on it in a while. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G2S3M1Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    • I'm hoping if/when they do the Titanium Man they use the classic armor; that's definitely "beefy":
