Marvel Legends Sightings and Hauls thread

Fantastic Four Franklin and Valeria set arrived from Pulse. I am a little underwhelmed so far but admittedly haven't opened the set yet.

Upon opening, I was hit with a little buyers remorse.. these aren't the versions of the characters I recognize. Especially Franklin. 

Guess will see if they change my mind once I get them opened and check them out

HaHa, I jsut got mine the other day and I love it. I did like that it looks eerily like the model from the Contest of Champions game. It looks like they've collaborated wit them quite a few times with some characters. I wish they would do it more often because they have some great designs.

Good video. So the answer is yes? I thought they were not the same set of arms at first but it looks like you just changed out the claws, right? If that's the case you sure answered my biggest question. Are you an reviewer? Do you have an channedl or just a sweet set up at home for personal use?

I have a channel but it's mostly just posting haul and showing off what comes in the sets.

I thought once upon a time, that the most mort-full of the Marvel Legends multitude was.....Man-Wolf............or the head of Silvermane upon that dinky little RC car.  Or was it the ToyBiz (freckled) Scarlet Witch???

No matter, they all have been swept aside, by the Bombastic Boar.   This...............THIS is where the boundary lays, the outer periphery of Marvel madness.  AND THEY DARED MAKE HIM.
Gaze upon his banyard countenance, behold and be beguiled by his electrified mane and knoweth that you shant likely witness such again.

I love this figure...........I mean, I knew I would, but holding it in-hand is just so so much more.  For all the wonderfully "serious" heroes and villains that Marvel has, it's characters like this that make me smile. Such a goofy get-up...I cannot stop laughing.

I've got a few goofy characters that just make my inner kid smile as well. 

Design-wise he is striking.  All in all a cool design and a fun character

Big week for two packs. Got the aforementioned FF teen set and in the past couple of days the Squadron Supreme amd Skrull sets have arrived.

Only had chance to open the Squadron so far and not disappointed.  Well...not in the figures at all but in 5he missed opportunities.

An extra unmasked head for both and a cape for Spectrum and we got classic 80s maxi series represented.  I know Hasbro is not currently including a lot of extras but this one would have been an easy way to get essentially two versions. Gone are the days I guess of that excellent Black Knight release that gave us THREE distinct looks. Too bad as they have been knocking out classic suits left and right lately 

But I digress. These are are nice set and a good start as I understand there is another SS set with Nighthawk and the Blur?

Seeing more if the Puff Adder wave in Targets today as I was able to snag Cap, Iron Man and Yelena.

Not unexpected but Cap and IM were plentiful in most stores.

Got Outback Rogue from Gamestop

Spotted full cases of Puff adder wave at 2 local Walmarts, grabbed a Wonder Man and Molecule Man.  I also want Orb and Strucker but they will have to wait for a sale.  Really digging Wondy and while Molecule Man has his flaws glad to finally have this guy in the collection.

One Walmart also had a full case of the Spiderverse wave so i finally got a good look at all of them in person. Just not my bag - Spider Punk is the most appealing to me, but he looks so skinny i find myself doubring his joints will hold up.  But if he's on sale later might grab him. But for now I'm happy with the 3 spider-verse figs i have from the Stilt man wave (skipped Prowler)

So i guess the only wave i'm still looking out for is Ch'od.  

My next most anticipated figure is probably Blob or Ronan, but i'm still hesitant on both due to the price. I'll have to get them eventually though

Ant-Man is showing up a Targets. Was at a store today that Popfdr said had 6. Target guy went to check bit told me they are street dated for June 1st. But have heard others are able to purchase. Guess like always it depends on who you ask to go check.

Also I saw a couple Track Suit Mafia figures in northern Ohio. Just at one store out of 4 or 5 I checked though so if you are interested start checking your local Targets.

Oh geez, also saw aempty CHO'D wave Cyclops. Looks like the fool ripped open the package as quickly as they could as the box was completely destroyed.

So just a day after being street-dated on Ant-Man, I walk into another Target and not only are there 5 of Ant-Man on the pegs, but had zero issues buying...

Target is a weird place

Also saw more Track Suit Mafia so if interested in either it may be worth a trip

So I absolutely love this new Ant-Man. The Track Suit Mafia guy is also a very cool amd unexpected figure.

But just now holding them side by side I've come to the conclusion that the Mafia Exclusive is a hell of a steal compared to Ant-Man. AM has exactly 2 accessories (hands) while Mafia has a whopping 7 accessories!! And 3 distinct head sculpts?!?! For a mere $3 more?!?! 

It's really too bad that $24.99 only gets us an extra pair of hands while we get charged more for the extra accessories we used to get at $19.99

Well at least exclusives with this many accessories don't come along that often as my army building goal as always is 6 figures. I've got 3 and whoof does that extra $3 per add up but it kinda feels like I'm getting what I paid for which makes it an easier pill to swallow..

Hey all who have seen GOTG v3.. PLEASE NO SPOILERS JUST A NUMBER IF APPLICABLE:

How.many extra Guardians uniformed bodies would i need to cover the new team members represented in the mid/ end credit scenes?

for example how many would work on the Star Lord body? On the Mantis body?

It may all be moot as Hasbro does try to get us every version but my (admittedly) need for completion seems to be winning this round

2 Star-Lord bodies and a Mantis will get you about as close as you can reasonably get.

Mantis is definitely too tall, but if you really want a placeholder already in a uniformed body, she's the only option. And dynamic posing can always hide a few scale sins if you're willing to let it.
