zabu is the tiger from sigma 6

Recommended Posts

the zabu that comes in the savage land pack... as opposed to all the other zabu's? because they've made so many... anyway...

which i guess would explain why he is as blocky and angular as he is. such a good set, and it's really a good figure, but for some reason that seems to cheapen it.

sorry if i'm late to the party and everyone already knew this.

they are, but they don't tend to cross marvel and g.i. joe. it gets in the way of pricing on licensing deals (but since it was a SDCC exclusive and not available in retail markets it would be different). if you look at the weapons on most of the wolverine figures they tend to be both new and crap. that's part of what made me think it was odd since the origin figures would be pretty well served by some of the joe accessories.

Not a surprise. Typical Hasbro MO.

Sigma Six were actually well made toys and at a hell of a price for as big as they were and the amount of accessories they came with.

But sadly those were Hasbro's attempt to answer the Super Articulated standard set by ToyBiz. Did you notice how quickly they discontinued the line after they acquired the Marvel license?

No more ML meant no more competition.
