I mix all of the paints I apply. It was a mixture of Burnt sienna,white, cadmium red, and yellow. I paint in layers as well.

That's the biggest pain doing these. It's important to do really thin coats, I'm pretty much drybrushing and wait an hour before you touch it even though it's dry to the touch in 10 mins.

My biggest proble is the shoulders. The joints there are always just so tightly fitted that it always scrapes. I'll have to try the glue trick though.
