I'm definitely not buying it for $150! The most I'd pay would be $30-$40. For $150, I could buy the entire wave (even the variants) of a lot of the older Toy Biz ML BAF waves!

i would definately look at other options. that's rediculous. theres no way on earth i would pay that much for an action figure even if it is that rare. (well maybe the crimson dawn psylocke, but thats beside the point) check amazon, and the online retailers periodically. or keep trying ebay until that fig goes down in price.

jeez, i had about 3 of those back in the day

Did you sell them on eBay for a lot?

I think I got rid of one on eBay. Probably didn't go for more than 20-25. Sold the other at cost and I think traded another for something else. I run marvellegends.info so back when MLs were coming out and I stopped being a completist I just bought them, took scans and pics for my site then made them available here on the boards. Why do you ask?

You're a good man! I love to see when collectors help out other collectors not for monetary gain, but just because they know the other person enjoys the hobby as much as themselves.

I have owned 2 of this guy. The first one I found at Wal-Mart for retail and later put him on ebay when I decided to get rid of most of my marvel legends. I really wanted him again though so I looked on ebay & was very patient & found one for buy it now or best offer $25. I offered the guy $20 and he accepted! That was about 3 or 4 months ago. Just set your price, search for it and be patient. You will find him at a good price!

Oh, I'm definitely going to be patient. Was the one you got from eBay carded? I really don't care about actually opening the package, but I want the BAF piece, too. I haven't seen the BAF piece by itself either.

Yep it was carded! I would advise to not even look for the BAF leg part loose...you might end up paying more for that than for the MOC figure. At least if you buy MOC you could keep the leg & sell Crossbones if you don't want him. I bet even if you started him at .99 cents on ebay he would go for at least $20. Or sell it to someone on here & still get $10 back from your investment. If I had the other Ares pieces (like I used to...it's crazy to me that i used to own that figure & now he goes for $120!!!) i would open my Crossbones & put Ares together. I'm not gonna dish out $50-$60 to get Guardian & Vision though.
