Building the Marvel Movie-verse

Since Hasbro is doing an excellent job of building up the movie-verse figures in the MU scale, I wanted to try to fill in some of the pre-Hulk movie (he had the first MU scale line) Marvel movie versions of characters.

I hate to say I fogot who but someone recently did a series of X-men movie inspired figures using the GI JOE ROC figures. I finished a Wolverine based on that idea and he looks awesome with the Iron Man and Hulk figures.

I want to make a Daredevil movie figure. I think maybe a GI JOE ROC Storm Shadow dyed a dark red and using a a MLS Daredevil head?

I have a Wesley Snipes Blade head cast when I get around to doing a movie Blade.

Any ideas for Ghost Rider?

I'm debating whether or not I want to do a movie Fantastic Four since rumors of a reboot coming in the next few years would probably mean a toyline.

I think GR and old GR with bike and horse would be really awesome.

Daredevil and Electra from movie would be good, same with Kingpin and Bullseye.

Green Goblin from Spidey 1 would be cool, as would Black costume spidey from 3 (hated movie loved that look).

All the X-Men and Magneto and brotherhood too. all must haves, Striker for X2 as well as beast for X3

I think that putting all these (and others) into a line called Movie Mania or something would rock, each wave can be from a movie ect. With its own card art ect.

But any way you slice it I would definalty buy a Jessica Alba Sue Storm LOL.

Scattered thoughts on your movie-verse idea:

I'm waiting to find a decent custom of a 4 inch scale Kingpin. If you can pull of the Michael Clark Duncan version, I'll be impressed and most likely stealing the recipe :).

I hated the look of the Green Goblin from Spidey 1. Hated it. I would like to see it forgotten. Focus your attention on a J.K. Simmons J.J.J. instead :).

I think it's trigate that offers the movie x-costume torsos in the 4 inch scale, just in case you were not aware.

There's a Boba Fett wannabe in the Star Wars line that has a head exactly like Tim Roth if you need one for a pre-abomination custom.

You could do customs from the punisher movies, too, complete with awkward John Travolta villainy.

I've got no suggestions for ghost rider, but if you find an acceptable Nic Cage head, you should buy a few. You could use them for Big Daddy from Kick Ass or a really pathetic version of Superman that almost ended up happening.

Similarly, a Jon Favreau head could be used for Happy Hogan and Foggy.

All in all, I think it's a good idea. Keep us posted on how it goes!

Of course not everyone wants to do cutsoms either, that is something you are not considering. Many of us don't have the time. As such the customs comments mean very little to me. I don't care who has the nic cage head or tim routh head, I haven't the time, paitiance, or energy to do it. I have other projects I enjoy more and get more rewards from.

As for not likeing movie goblin, I admit its not my fav, but I wiould still grab it if put out.
