there is going to be a comic book convention soon. there are usually a few Ares build-a-figures priced at around $40.00 is this a good price??????????? i really want one and i need to decide if i should spend that much on it. how much would any of you spend on it?

You probably won't find one cheaper, in my opinion. There's one on ePay at a low bid right now, but it's got 6 days left (item # 220680904351)... so you can watch that and see what happens, but there are very few on there at all, and ridiculous prices on some that are on there.

 

I say go ahead and buy the one at the convention. It's worth it, especially if you really want it.

Dude if you can find a fully built Ares for 40 bucks then you are lucky as hell at this point. They for for 80-120 on ebay.

DUDE i actually jsut made one for pretty much free

 

get the westler body warrior hawk and just put the ares head from the warmachine BAR on it and its perfect scale and his hands hold his sward better than the hasbro BAF arms

 

his bodys slight color off but all you gota do is a light wash im still workin on this figure slowly but surely itll be finished

heres his head for 5.99 i seen but i think u can get a new warmachine for that price with the head ;lol

if u can get one for $40 , then ur lucky indeed. it cost over 90 bucks when the series was at retail. 8 figs at 10.44 a pop.
