Marvel Select Movie Thor and Loki

The new thor and loki movie figures have a cool movie themed Blue packaging. You also get a build a base with the two figures. thor comes with the round floor base and loki comes with the sword and holder that fit in the center of the floor base. I think thats the first build a base marvel select has atempted so far? we have been asking for it. It also makes you buy all of them to build a huge base. take note Diamond you really may be on to something???

noteable mentions: Green lantern 6" movie figures hit toys r us, kind of skinny, weak looking, same price point as DCUC three figures with first wave, looks like a huge build a figure: hal jordan, 2 others are lantern corps. 2-packs same as singles except one differint fig, the red bald guy on lantern corps

I'm not very interested in the Marvel Select Thor figures. I am waiting for that Gambit to come out! They have been doing build-a-base with the X-Men figures and they did it with the Zombie Hulk, Spider-Man and Colonel America.

thats right I forgot about that small unempressive silver surfer base. the x-men?? all they have is cyclopes, one piece. I dont care for cyclops or the new gambit, but if the base is worth it when completed i might have to buy them.

Are the Thor & Loki bases huge? I will have to check them out!

got the set yesterday. Have not opened them yet as I was too busy getting wasted last night. Will post pics w/ comparisons to the MS Iron Man as well later on. Loki is damn amazing looking though.
