Marvel select

I'm ridiculously anxious for these. The Thor especially. IF the Avengers end up forming a "diorama" of sorts, I"ll get all 4. If not, I may pass on Cap as he looks a bit too cartoonish. The Thor is amazing and I think he'll fit in perfectly w/ Legends. The Giant Man Thor is beautiful but a bit undersized. This Thor looks perfect, articulation pending. Hawkeye is too big to squeeze in a Legends collection but like MS Deadpool, he'll look fine standing no his own. I can't see them topping the Hasbro Black Widow but you never know. Damn fine job by Diamond Select. Here is hoping that we soon see Marvel Select Colossus (classic attire, Astonishing or Acolyte variant) and 90s Apocalypse. Fingers crossed!!

I'm thinking I'll fudge the scale on Thor and put him with my Legends. Hopefully his balance is better than the Giant-Man Wave version.

Hawkeye, as beautiful as that figure is, I don't see him looking good with legends, which is unfortunate.

Oh well, I will anxiously await.

These figures are awesome, but the problem is Marvel Select, not the figures... The first Marvel Select action figures were of new characters, characters in modern version or character with no figure yet, like:

* Ultimate Spider-Man

* Black Widow II

* Black Cat

* Mephisto

* Zombie Colonel America

* Zombie Spider-Man

* Zombie Hulk

* Anti-Venom

* Red Hulk

But with some figures such as Colossus (classic), Cyclops (2nd costume), Gambit (classic), Hawkeye (classic) and Daredevil (classic) Diamont are making figures from characters with figures done. I have to admit that some of these figures are better that Marvel Legends version (Hawkeye), but there are characters that need figures, like:

* Bleeding Edge Iron Man

* Carnage (modern)

* Rescue

* Mr. Fantastic (FF)

* Invisible Woman (FF)

* The Thing (FF)

* Spider-Man (FF)

* Commander Roger

* Iron Patriot

The only thing I can complain about Diamond is the amount they release a year. 16 figures a year would be awsome. as far as whats been released in the past year is awsome and more to come the only couple of missis have been Deadpool, cyclops, and Magneto. These figures are starting to be great!
