Thunderball actually has new gloves, pelvis, thighs.

Yeah I noticed that but it still comes from the the same base, but retooled. For the Better. What I meant was it will be the same scale, but looks way better with the repositioned forarm swivle. It looks good I like how they have evolved a mediocer base into soemthing really great. What would have made it perfect is a more average shoulder ball joint and the boots more shaped as a calf(like they did on buckys base) instead of flushed.

This is awesome - good or bad- either way this has got everyone talking.

And everyone sounds excited, just think of how deprived we've all been!

All this time our figures gathering dust, neglected, unwanted.

(kidding, I move them around all the time)

See?

...their space slowly overcome by DCUC and other crap we have all been wasting our money on.

You know, I actually bought junk like Ivar the ant and Nova, to name a couple, from the old Toybiz line just to fill the void.

My Wife even picked them out of the crowd one day and said "why have you got those in there? They don't look right." Once she saw how impressed I was she started pointing out other figures she thought were old school, some of the Skrull and Kang...

She was quickly escorted out at that point.

Can't figure out why she was in there or how she found the secret entrance for that matter.

Anyways,this whole Marvel Legends thing?

is FREAKIN' AWESOME!!! BRING IT ON NOW!!!

The sporadic releases of the 2packs, Iron man and Marvel Select...these did not cut it.

I've felt so deprived; it was so hard for me to not change scale again, I've been looking at and drooling over the MU figs for too long, I didn't cave in though, I was good, only stuff that is in scale, I kept telling myself, like Gigantic Battles etc.

So please do this right.

Hopefully, your marketing and distribution teams will actually be earning their keep this time.

So, thanks again Hasbro... just don't make them too hard to find!

Remember what happen last time?

and we know that someone, somewhere is reading all our posts, then getting in the company pogo jet and reporting directly back to Stan Lee, oh and Mickey too.

-Madame Masque/Hydra: Females + Villains=no brainer, another Iron Man villain looks like it's a good time to be an Iron Man fan.

Yes.. Yes it is!!

Also.. I thought someone said that there was going to be an Ultimate Hawkeye in Wave 1 a few weeks ago? Am I making that up?

no. what was said was ult hawkeye is planned for the ml line when the toyfair was on. whether or not he makes it is another story altogether. they may reveal him later ( more then likely at the NYCC) or not at all.

Running changes would be easy. Think about it like this: Initial release has, say, Thunderball. Every two months another Wrecking Crew member is introduced but not to the exclusion of the previous member so while there's a new WC in the case (Bulldozer for ex) Thunderball isn't completely gone for another two months. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Now the only thing that will completely fudge this is the usual backroom shenanigans. I know these shenanigans as I worked at Target once and I can't begin to tell you the number of times I would find the rare/chase/variant figures stockpiled in the back. I would "liberate" them from their false prisons at every opportunity! LOL.

will these figures be definitely hitting first quarter of 2012? Any chance of them trickling in for the Christmas season?

Who knows, but given past history I would say no. This is an entirely new line as far as retail is concerned with a larger size than the Universe figures. When the toy aisles get reset in January and February this is generally when we'd see the line hit when they free up space for the new series on the pegs. But Wal-Mart is swapping out the 6" Iron Man movie figures for the Thor and Cap movie figures. So they could feasibly use that same space for Marvel Legends as soon as they come out. I hope they come out before Christmas, but I'm not betting on it.
