Hey all

 

I just found all the wave two figs at my local walmart besides the running changes and the variants and bought them all. Now Im conflicted cause I dont really want to put a Red Skull together but all I found was Piledriver and Viper. Should I put the Red Skull together and take him apart later when I get the other figures thats if he doesnt break when I try to pull the arms out...cause I really dont want two Caps, Fantomexs and Draxs not only that Im on SSI and dont really have the money for more of them. To add to that I really dont want a red skull but it would be nice to have something while I wait for Thunderball and Madame Masque.

Don't put it together if it's not what you want, just wait for Thunderball and Madam Masque. He won't be able to come apart once you snap him into place. See if there's a board member who'll trade with you. Or open all but those 2 and hunt for them incl. ToysRUs if you must.

I think Im going to do that ^_^ My friend isnt collecting Zola or Skull but wants a Dakken and Fantomex so Im just going to get those pieces off him and buy yet another Bucky and Drax. Oh well, at least I get one Baf completed today ^_^

I didn't want any of the new marvel legends except fantomex n ff spidey, all I did is buy them all to build bafs. Then i sold all figs loose and made a profit and only loss on 3 figures max of $8 which is way cheaper for baf part than paying ebay prices for them.

I did what you did, built the Red Skull Arnim Zola, then I got the correct torso last week.

All I can tell you is this.

I've never had a harder time pulling limbs off a figure in my 21 years of collecting without breaking it.

I don't have a hair dryer so I had to boil and pop off the legs.

Then I had to pour boiling hot water in the hole, of the one arm I did get off, and hope for the best with the Red Skull sticker inside.

It had condensation build up for about 6 hours but came out ok.

But, it didn't work, so i got a screwdriver and pushed the limb out from inside, which took a chunk of skin off my thumb when it popped through.

One of the worst action figure incidents in my life.

It looks a lot better with the Arnim Zola face though.

I just started on my actual Zola, Found Thunderball at a walmart Friday night ^_^ (Now I have to hope that I can scrounge up enough for my avengers vs x men titles this month) And I must say, now that I have both the ones that are out I love the wreckers mold. Am I alone in this?

Here's what I did: Found all of wave 2 at retail except spidey. Found on the pegs were piledriver and viper. I was then lucky enough to get a case from Hasbro, and it came with masque and thunderball. So I had enough pieces to make both arnims zolas, and I didnt want the red skull one. I sold my duplicate caps, fantomex, and daken loose for $12 each and then put together and sold the extra baf for $55. This worked out better than selling the extra figures complete. I ended up pretty much breaking even as if I had gotten all tge figures abd variants at retail.
