I'm curious if there's any current 6 inch lines that match Marvel Legends

le if I wanted cap fighting batman or something I'd like them to be in the same scale.

I guess the DC Universe Classics was 6" but now discontinued right?

Dc Classics was discontinued but DC direct releases 6 inches figures in comic shops all the time. Check out Midtowncomics.com this week, they are getting in the a new series that has Batman, Nightwing, Riddler, and a Talon.

The new 52 figures? I was under the impression they were in the 7" scale.

They also had Arkham figures and I wasn't sure about those either.

Part of the problem is I've seen them listed as both 6" and 7"

To be honest, I think they are advertised as the 6.5" scale. Slightly bigger than Legends, but smaller than Marvel Select.

DC Collectible figures could still work, but some figures don't have enough articulation to pose in action shots with. They have just recently increased their articulation in their figures since DC Universe Classics were cancelled.

Boo 6.5 boo. Well I might pick some up anyway. I dunno. They look pretty cool. So the DC classics tho.. did those scale better with the legends?

I think so. I'll have to take some size comparison pics tonight and post them for you...

I just picked a few at random. We have John Stewart from DC Universe Classics, Iron Patriot from Iron Man 3 Legends, Simon Baz Green Lantern from DC Collectibles, and Iron Man Mark VI from Marvel Select. I think maybe the closest match to Marvel Legends would be DC Universe Classics...they both are pretty articulated. DC Collectibles is close, just not as articulated.

Thanks for posting 'em.

I'm still on the fence about which of the lines to invest in.

The DCUC better in scale with legends but the leg articulation pretty ugly and the line is dead for now.

vs

DC Direct's awesome looking figures that will dwarf my Legends

(they would be on a different shelf anyway so I shouldn't care but I do)

Plus I don't want to buy any of the figures with the crap leg articulation DCD has. Looks like they are starting to make some figures with a ball joint leg which is really nice.
