Spiral is by no means a bad figure, but I think it's easy for us to be dazzled by the fact it has six arms that we don't really look at the flaws. Articulation in the body overall is lacking. Her hip articulation, torso, and arms could be better by current standards. Double-jointed elbows are awkward, but the newer rotation/hinge joint would streamline the look of all those arms. The girl is seriously lacking curves compared to "Hasbro Phase 2" female models. And remove that helmet and her head sculpt is a mess from all that flat hair. That could be solved with helmeted and unhelmeted alternate heads, rather than the removable helmet.

Looking at her, the articulation is very straight and boxy, instead of built into natural curves like more current female figures. Seemingly a character like Spiral would take a lot of unique parts to get her back into an ML wave, but the calves need the shaggy boots (unless you want to fake it with Black Cat's boot cuffs with flatter heel) and the upper torso needs the ports for all the arms, but otherwise the moonstone body would be great. Throw some more metallic paint highlights on her and she'd look sooooo much more slick.

Yeah, I was thinking about this the other day... do swaps even count as a thing anymore?

In most cases they come with different parts of a BAF... They don't require the same body mold for both swaps... They ship in the same cartons at the same time... so what does swap really mean anymore, other than two figures being represented on the same packaging at this point?
