Recommended Posts

We saw a glimpse of this last week but now Hasbro has released official details and images for their second 2018 SDCC Exclusive Marvel Legends set.

The set features a MCU 10th Anniversary 6" Red Skull with mini Tesseract to hold as well as a 3.63-square-inch light-up Tesseract. The set will come in unique packaging and cost $59.99.

A brilliant scientist obsessed with domination, Johann Schmidt leads the HYDRA-Abteilung division, a secret unit that specializes in artillery and harnessing the power of the Tesseract to create super weapons. Bent on achieving ultimate power, Schmidt injects himself with an early version of the Super Soldier Serum and suffers the side effects, including deformation and a stunning crimson visage.

At 3.63 square-inches, the included Tesseract lights up and features alternating light patterns, as well as a seamless battery install for an authentic look and feel. Pack also includes a 6-inch-scale Red Skull figure, featuring Captain America: The First Avenger-inspired design and premium articulation and design.

LOL, so it was both a figure and a prop replica.

Wow! Definitely sufficiently different than the 10th Anniversary Army Building version via the trenchcoat/great coat design use. Very nice, w/ great packaging to boot. Wonder how long he will last via HTS on 13 August?

$60 for a (fairly) unique figure and a prop, I mean, 6" world we live in that seems totally reasonable!  Having a shelf with Mjolnir, Star Lord and Iron Man's helmets and the Tesseract would make me a happy collector

This is a great piece and another good example of what a convention exclusive should be. Very cool to have, but not essential.  The Red Skull figure seems very nice and you can buy like a few of the MCU figures and make your Hydra army. The Tesseract could also feature some sounds because if I remember correctly it had like a humming sound alongside the shimmering light. Anyway, it's a very cool prop.

Digging the prop replica aspect of this, probably even more than the figure... I wouldn't have guessed in a million years that this was what they had up their sleeves.

I knew it! I called this one because I had a feeling that they would do this! YESSS! This is AWESOME! I am so glad that it is this version. I was hoping that it would be this version as it is a perfect fit for The Red Skull. Now Hasbro needs to make 2 new and better Captain America First Soldier figures. One with his original Star Spangled uniform and one with the uniform he wore in battle with the helmet. Thanks JayC!

Totally forgot about this uniform. I almost thought he only wore that other uniform from Skull / Hydra figure at Toyfair and realized that there was something different from what I vaguely recall in the movie. This one takes the cake for looking a bit more menacing.

Red Skull Figure looks great, packaging Looks amazing and the tesseract prop is the best part of the ser for me. This set will be peally hard and pricey beaing a sdcc exclusive. I can see this selling out fast. I will look on ebay for one if price is reasonable but i won't pay scalper Prices.
