Marvel Legends 6" Avengers: Infinity War Falcon & Winter Soldier 2-Pack In-Hand Images

Recommended Posts

MarvelousNews reader Alex sends in these in-hand images for the new Marvel Legends 6" Avengers: Infinity War 2-Pack featuring Falcon and Winter Soldier. This set has started seeing release overseas and will be out in the next month or store at Target stores in the US. This set no longer contains any kind of build-a-figure pieces and the guns shown with Falcon are not included in the actual boxset.

Well, those don't look so bad afterall.  Bucky's  face sculpt is waay better than the SHF one. I wish he came with closed fists. Too bad the weapons are not included. He had to come with his submachine guns. In that regard, he SHF release will be much better and definitely worth the money.

Would have got this if it had Stan Lee parts. Maybe even if Falcon had articulated wings and some pistols, I'd be tempted. As it stands now, I have no need for this set as I have the Walmart Falcon and a Bucky custom I'm happy with.

Having the Civil War versions of both of these characters, all I want is Bucky's head. Is there much of a difference between this Falcon and the previous one?

I would've ordered this if it had the Stan Lee parts. At least this set is not bad for those who missed out on the falcon or wanted to have a different winter soldier.

I feel like Falcon needs more paint apps or something. He just looks a bit bland.

I just kind of got back into collecting so I’m glad all these redone/new movie figures are coming out so I can pretty much get all of them right away.

I love this set but too bad that Hasbro still has not released the version of Falcon from Captain America Winter Soldier. I think they may release it for the First 10 Years set. I am hoping so at least anyways.

really like the look of this set, love the head sculpt of the WInter Soldier figure it really looks like Sebastian Stan. The falcon figure doesn't look too bad either.  Can't wait to pick up this set.

For me personally any way I just don't see enough here if you already have the previous Winter Soldier and Falcon figure to warrant dropping $40+ on this. Yeah the Winter Soldier headsculpt does look a bit better than the previous one and the arm looks decent, but that just doesn't seem enough to want me to buy this. I think if Hasbro had just taking a little extra effort and added movie accurate weapons with it for both Falcon and WS, this would have been much more appealing. I get originally this was going to have the Stan Lee BAF pieces and they probably figured that would have been enough to sell the set on it's own, but still. I hate to say it but I likely will only buy this if it ends up on the discount shelf like we saw with the Guardians 2-Pack with Ego.

If I’m honest, I’m not altogether jazzed about this set... I don’t have any figures of either character. But still, even with that in mind, there’s just nothing really grabbing my attention with them. If this had been a Cap/Winter Soldier set, maybe. But, then to be losing out on the Stan Lee BAF? Meh.

I already own both of these from the Civil War movie and I really don't like the look for Bucky in the Infinity War movie so I will pass on this. The fact that this pack is heavy with reuse gives Hasbro no excuse to not go the extra mile with accessories or something.  Even with the BAF Stan Lee pieces this would have been an easy pass for me. I do want Hasbro to release a more movie accurate and detailed Winter Soldier Bucky figure and include all of the guns and alternate heads for their 10th anniversary line.

Not a bad looking set of figures for people who didnt get them before but for me it really isnt worth it, As many people I would have bought this pack just for the stan lee BAF pieces, but without them its an easy pass. Hopefully we'll eventually get Stan someway.

    • For me, it's not about "gotta have it now" it's more of a "grab it when you see it" because it won't get restocked. I have a list of figures I still don't have because I choose to get other figures first, and planned to come back later to get the others (Mysterio, Hela, Reed Richards) and others that I simply never saw on a peg ever (Cyclops, Colossus Juggernaut wave Wolverine)
    • for whatever reason, the Spider-Man Homecoming Vulture BaF wave is showing up in Duane Reades in Manhattan.   I'm guessing they heavily ordered that movie-themed wave, and are sending their excess out now.
    • It's that time of the year again guys. for the new guys we have strict rules As alway: DO NOT POST PICS OR LINK TO OTHER SITES. I know we all get excited when we read something on another site but please know that this site will post news and images on the main page. You are allow to write what other sites have reported, that fine as we know we can't stop you all from doing that but don't post any pics or link. That plus our boss get really mad at us lol :P Don't not make multiple thread discussing the same thing. Keep all Toyfair/SDCC/Hascon/NYCC news to this thread. If you have an opinion or even anger rant (come one we know some one will), please post it here. If we MODs see a thread like this one, it will be merged together with this one. Try and keep wishlist til after the Toyfair/SDCC/Hascon/NYCC (Sunday or Monday). We are not going to ban wishlist thread, in fact we like them, but there is really no point in making a list until we know all that is coming out. Also their will usually be the annual "Post SDCC/Hascon/NYCC Wishlist" Thread going up on Monday. NEW RULE! DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A MCU VS COMIC THREAD!! Over the past couple of month there has been an increase in threads going from talking about one particular topic into a thread filled with MCU VS Comic or Peg Cloggin. Keep this thread talking about the reveals and figures. Nothing else. BUT if you don't like the MCU figures revealed then you can say that. News:
    • Marvel Entertainment and IDW Publishing announced today that the two companies will develop middle-grade comic books designed for younger readers. Featuring some of Marvel’s most popular characters, the monthly issues and trade paperback collections, published by IDW, will be available for sale at local comic book shops and book retailers across the country, expanding opportunities for the next generation of Super Heroes to experience the Marvel Universe.

“From Iron Man to Captain Marvel, from the Hulk to Shuri — the Marvel pantheon has something for everyone,” says John Barber, editor-in-chief of IDW. “With this team-up, Marvel and IDW aim to bring exciting, all-new comics to a generation growing up in a Marvel world.”

Launching in November 2018, the Marvel and IDW collaboration will kick off with a Spider-Man series featuring both Peter Parker and Miles Morales, followed by an Avengers series beginning in December and a Black Panther series in January 2019. Each of these titles will serve as an easily-accessible jumping-on point for younger readers to follow the adventures of their favorite characters.

“Marvel is excited to work with IDW to share these brand-new stories with our younger fans,” said C.B. Cebulski, editor-in-chief of Marvel. “Characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, and the Avengers inspire us through their strength and determination, but they resonate with readers because of the struggles they face and the challenges they overcome. We want to share their journeys with our younger fans first-hand.”

“Marvel is committed to delivering unique and accessible content for our younger audiences and fans,” said Sven Larsen, director, licensed publishing of Marvel. “As one of our most valued partners, IDW is the right fit to help us feature some of our most popular characters and publish stories created especially for the next generation of Super Heroes.”

“This partnership reflects the true spirit of collaboration at work,” said Greg Goldstein, president and publisher of IDW. “As comic book publishers, IDW and Marvel are able to produce high-quality visual storytelling experiences for fans both young and old. By combining our efforts, along with Marvel’s ever-increasing presence in popular culture, the results will be spectacular.”

Story details and creative teams for the new line of middle-grade comic books will be announced at a later date.
