Diamond Select Toys has released final packaging images for their upcoming Marvel Select 7" Beast figure.

The newest Marvel Select figure is a beast! Longtime X-Man and Avenger Hank McCoy, a.k.a. Beast, joins the long-running Marvel Select action figure line, adding to the already extensive X-Men line-up. Featuring approximately 16 points of articulation and interchangeable hands, the 7-inch figure comes with a new section of the Danger Room, with climbing bars for the team's resident super-genius gymnast. Combine it with the other X-Men's sections of the Danger Room to forge a larger diorama! Packaged in the famous Select packaging, with side-panel artwork for shelf reference. You can pre-order this figure now at BigBadToyStore.com.

Could be a little better. Looks somewhat small and slim, but overall is a nice figure and I definitely need this! Can't wait for Rogue. This one is perfect. 2 more pieces for my Danger Room diorama.

Be nice if Marvel Select does Sasquatch as he will then be more scale accurate with ML line being that he will be at least 1 inch bigger than the ML version, preferably they'll scale him at 10' inches tall then he'll be perfect with ML figs.

Absolutely! That's what I've been hoping for too, for exactly the reasons you described. The ML version is just a bit too small so a Select version would be closer to scale. I have a Select Groot and a new Sasquatch created at the Select Groot height  (around 10") but more muscular and bulky would be ideal. The Diamond Select people do regularly post their question-and-answer sessions on their website and I've seen some fans ask for a Sasquatch occasionally. Unfortunately, their response has always been along the lines of "we currently have no plans to make that figure." I hope that changes.

I feel like it misses something on the figure, maybe an accesory that could help to justify the bougth

He comes with two extra hands and the diorama. Pretty standard.

DST can be pretty hit or miss for me. This is definitely a miss.

I don't thnik is a total miss. I have seen him with the Toy Biz Beast head and looked perfect. Could be better, yes. But not a total loss. If you can get a custom head the figure will pop instantly.

Ugh, that head sculpt... solid figure otherwise, but that's a dealbreaker for me. There's something... long and narrow about it. I also don't like the lack of pupils in his eyes- I know Hank is drawn like that sometimes, but it makes him look a bit stylized. That, in and of itself, isn't a terrible thing, but the rest of the figure, and the rest of the Select X-Men figures, are pretty straightforward and realistic in their sculpts, so I don't see this figure looking good when displayed with the rest of them.

Agreed. It's not a total miss, and if it scaled to my 6" collection, I might have got it. I just mean that it's a miss enough for me to not spend the money.

I collect Marvel Select and all my X-Men are from this line. So Beast is a must have. I am so very excited about Rogue, even more.
