Sony Pictures has released a new promotional poster for the new Christmas release of 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.'

"Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," the upcoming 3D animated superhero movie, which tells the origin story of Miles Morales, an Afro-Latino teenager who discovers that he possesses superpowers -- and his abilities are very much like Spider-man's.

In this big-screen Sony Pictures Animation adaptation of the Miles Morales comic books, Miles lives in an alternate Brooklyn where Peter Parker is much older and also appears to be lying low, yet has decided to take Miles under his wing. The two develop a mentor-student relationship while Miles must learn to balance his life as a superhero with his life as an ordinary high school kid.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse stars the voices of Shameik Moore, Jake Johnson, Hailee Steinfeld, Nicolas Cage, John Mulaney, Kimiko Glenn, Brian Tyree Henry, Liev Schreiber, Mahershala Ali, Luna Lauren Velez, Lily Tomlin

Release: December 25th, 2018

So old man Parker in this appears to be Tobey Maguire Spider-Man. At the very least, his feats are inspired by him.

I liked the Spidey characters we’ve seen so far, not sure where the mechanical spider-girl is from. Trying to be like the SP//DR I guess?

Still cool though I hope we get Spider-Punk or even cosmic Spider-Man in this movie!

Can't wait for this movie to come out. I have never seen an animated move on the big screen. This looks like a good on to start with.
