well that was an interesting watch. Nice to see that all of it is not just computers and 3d printing.

Glad to see he comes with 2 sets of hands. I'll be getting him because it's a cool looking Herc but why did they have to go with making his modern version 1st over his 2 more iconic looks which are more well known by comic fans.  Hasbro better be making those 2 next!

This is one of my most wanted figures out of what we know is on the way next year. Been waiting forever for a new Hercules. And glad this one has a better face this time.

Better face as in no longer has the BK King's face lol. I never was a big fan of Hercules but this new figure looks great.

That’s awesome!  It is really cool to see some hands on. I wish I could get my hands on some of the paint they use for their figures but it’s illegal over here. I gotta find this Wolverine video I’m hearing about; I missed that one.

I think I like this one better then the first one. It will be cool to see them side by side in my collection. They should do more videos like that.

This is pretty fun, I like seeing things like this showing the intricacy of the art of making figures.

Makes you appreciate the time and effort that goes into making a ML toy

If they paint these by hand, why couldn't we get blue paint on the joints on our Spider-Man figures?

There's a paint budget

cause these are the designers for the figure. they craft these figures and send them to the factory where they cast the figures (by parts) and paint by machines.

Incase the video caused a bit of confusion, the Hercules toy shown in the clip is an artist's proof, not a mass produced final.  That said, the paint  used on the proof isn't illegal - they are the type of paints you can find at your local Hobby shop.  The ones found on the massed produced toy is.

The making of the video isn't a video on making a finalized toy, but as mentioned above, it is to make an artist's proof or prototype, which is sent to the China as a guideline of how to paint the toy.

Yes thank you. That’s what I was think about is the mass production paint they use. I use mainly model masters, Vallejo or citadel but that stuff they use in China is SERIOUS.

You know what I mean.  The proofs are sent overseas to be used as guidelines for the factories producing the figures.

A lot of TLC went into this figure. The sculpt on it is amazing! Plus that’s great if the factory is her in the Ststes now! Keep us updated on that JayC if you can.

This one is definitely going to be a Must Have for me. Doesn't fit into any of the teams I'm working on collecting but.. I'm sure I can find a suitable Western Logan to pair him up with. Can't wait!
