DANG!!! I did so well in resisting the MCU 10th figures, but Hasbro's got me by the short-hairs with these.

The neon green matches the source material of Hulk #181. Which makes me even more excited.

I actually forgot its based off the first battle with wolverine. Definitely stoked for it. Hopefully prices arent too ridiculous.

Why does everybody always harp on Hulk being bigger/taller than so & so?  The movies really messed it up for non comic fans who seem to think Hulk was some super giant in the comics. His 1st app Grey form was only 6'6 then when he mutated to the Green version, he went up to 7ft hence the "Jade Giant" nickname. Is being a 7ft 1000lb character not big enough?

I hope you didn't take my comment as harping because in all honesty it's just a personal preference. If he's just as tall as Juggernaut that's fine too. From what I can tell with the pic we have available his scale looks great next to the Wolverine.

So Glad to have a comic Hulk. I need two, one for my Avengers shelf and one for my Defenders shelf. I hope they do a single pack with a more modern head sculpt too.

I wish I didn't have to get a first appearance Wolverine though.

Im definetely getting that thor figure, the Cap one looks nice too (ill need better pics of him to see if Ill end up buying him or not), same goes for the Wolverine and Hulk 2 pack (we know that wolverine will be a good figure since itll be the same mold as the apocaplypse wave one, but Im curious on how the hulk really looks outside that packaging, specially the height), as for Ironman its ok but not my cup of tea (I would have rather have a modular armor ironman)

Im looking forward to seeing the rest of this line (if that colossus figure is a classic one Ill have to buy the pack just for him)

What I'm seeing here is a dream come true for me.  I love these versions of the Big Three, I love this Wolverine design, and that Hulk looks like the exact version I've wanted for years.  And the rumor of a Peggy Carter?  That's just icing on the cake for me.  Count me in on these.

I didnt even take into account the rumored peggy carter, from the images I just imediately assumed Cap would be single packed like Thor and Ironman, now that Im thinking about it Im guessing Cap wil come with Peggy in a 2 pack (if the rumors are correct).

I think it's more the fact that there might be 2 cap, one comic and one MCU with Peggy. If not then Peggy could be the Captain America Exile version.

Isn't it immoral for Hasbro to keep making these figures? My wallet is already empty! But seriously, I cannot wait for these guys. Cant really tell but it almost looks like they used the Omega Red mold for Thor, which is great. The TB version still holds up but I'm drooling over getting this one. And finally, Cap in his scale mail! I've always, always wanted them to make his blue darker (even moreso than the comics because that's actually closer to the actual flag colors) and to round it out, chrome Iron Man. This is pure action figure porn....

Not big on that Thor figure as I have the original ToyBiz version and wasn't a big fan. Be interested in seeing the Peggy Carter and Captain "American" set. ;)

yes! i thought the same....I love the other 4 figures shown here...but if Cap / Thor / Iron Man are supposed to be based on Alex Ross's art, a simple Google search proves that to be all wrong. He looks more like a perfectly serviceable Thor figure, but nothing we haven't see before, and certainly not nearly as accurate to Ross' interpretation as Iron Man and Cap are (both look fantastic, high marks there)....there's been so many Thor figures, that it's hard to make a new one really stand out unless it's based on a costume.....hmm, but are they any left that haven't been made?? or an art style......ah well, bring on WW2 Cap & Peggy!

Doubt that Thor is on the Omega Red sculpt, that would make him an outta scale 7- 8' tall fig.  Hasbro has finally given us a classic comic based Thor, the last thing I wanna see is that they screwed up the scale on him...again!

That classic Hulk seems to have butterfly articulation so it would be nice if they include a pair of "Thunderclap" hands to go along with the fists/grabbing hands. Based on these initial inbox pics, this could very well be the definitive classic comic based hulk that many of us have been asking for these past few yrs. Same for classic Thor & chainmail Cap. I really hope Hasbro is including a more comic based classic IM helmet along with the AR helmet sculpt. I don't recall a huge uproar for figures based on his art. When it comes to Ironman, Bob Layton or George Perez Ironman are my all time fav versions of shellhead.

Had it looked like this GP art, I'd be a drooling mess on the floor right now!

I am really hoping for a new modern Avengers Thor with the gold arm and the beard... In a perfect world they would include a regular arm and an alternate head sculpt so that we could also create a proper "Marvel NOW" Thor since the original release on the retooled "Return of Marvel Legends" Thor is outdated and out of scale.

I would love that and I think he would be perfect for an Avengers wave rather then the 80 sets.

Of course I want every costume of every character because of my Wardrobe OCD.

I agree that it would be better for an Avengers wave of regular Marvel Legends figures rather than the 80th Anniversary line...

This and the classic Thor are the two biggest missing Thor figures in my collection.

Sweetness!!  A brand new Classic Thor is just what I've been waiting for, baby!! Great to see a Cap with his scale-mail too! Iron Man's helmet looks a bit derpy, but I'm getting it, because I am straight Old School (and it'll be cheaper than that awesome Mezco version) lol!

While that Mezco IM is great looking, it's also way taller than the ML figs & of course, way more expensive. The ML IM will be in proper scale to his fellow Avengers. Ironman should be no taller than Cap who is 6'2.  classic  comic book Stark is 6' & in that skin tight form fitting Bronze age 70s classic armor, should only gain an inch or 2 due to the boot soles & helmet space.

Maybe the modern MCU based armor has platform boots that  now have him listed as being 6'6 but in the comics from the 60s,577606147_Avengers1.thumb.jpg.2fea797b620a5dcb5462e1a73a3fe076.jpg577606147_Avengers1.thumb.jpg.2fea797b620a5dcb5462e1a73a3fe076.jpg70s ,80s-90s, he was never drawn the same hgt as Thor who is 6'6 or  even Hercules who's 6'5.

In This Avengers artwork of the classic 80s team, this artist drew them exactly as they should scale to one another with Thor at 6'6 , being the tallest & Cap/IM at 6'2 being the same hgt while Vision/Wonderman & Hawkeye all being a tad taller as they all stand 6'3 & Panther at 6' being the smallest of the men. That is a perfect picture as far as accurate scale goes. Sorry for the double pic post.

I have zero doubt that this Alex Ross IM will be re-done in his classic red/Yellow 70s look with a more classic Bob Layton/George Perez helmet sculpt as those 2 great artists drew my favorite versions of Ironman. He could come out in Vintage wave 3?

I've been waiting so long for a classic Thor! That Iron Man's body looks amazing but I'm not sold on the Alex Ross type head.

That Hulk looks very impressive, hopefully it will finally blow anything Toy Biz did out of the water.

Keep 'em coming HASBRO, now I'm just waiting for 90's Storm & Jean Grey... please?

Yes! i love that particulate Thor figure and display him next to the Hawkeye of the same line...those were two of the very best Disney Store figures in my book....I agree onthem being out of a scale being a reason not to use them further, but boy they turned out nice.

Be nice if Hasbro also gives us a classic 80s Beta Ray Bill to go with classic Thor. That modern version they chose to go with leaves much to be desired imo & no one asked for that version..  Make this happen Hasbro!

I expected this version of Peggy Carter, but it's okay, at least we'll have it in an action figure :blink:1654256837_Marvel80thAnniversaryLegendsSeriesCaptainAmericaandPeggyCarter2-Pack(PeggyCarter)oop__scaled_600.thumb.jpg.de83f5dca355e10613ae8f6d2637ed72.jpg136304cf7ca338a17dbd1a9ffe2a227c.thumb.jpg.a7d93ebe6470d74ee7f1c27c6657e63b.jpgThe-First-Avenger-Peggy-Carter-Jacket-2.thumb.jpg.29ff2366ff511a1814b1bea86c6c113e.jpg
