X-Men Legend Collectors, What Do You Want Next?

I'm definitely hoping for more 80s X-folk! I'd love to have the whole outback crew (we only have Wolverine and Dazzler so far) and New Mutants (only Warlock so far, with presumably the iconic version of Dani Moonstar on the way). We still need:

Outback

Psylocke

Colossus

Havok

Storm

Longshot

Rogue

Honorary members: Gateway, Maddie Pryor, Lila Cheney

New Mutants

Magik

Karma

Cypher

Wolfsbane

Cannonball

Sunspot

Magma

Other than those, I really want Chamber and Dust.

For villains, I'd really like Beast (Age of Apocalypse), Callisto, Destiny, Exodus, Senyaka, and some 90s Brotherhood companions for Sauron, like Pyro, Blob, Toad, Masque, and Phantazia. Not sure why my hero tastes run 80s and my villain tastes run 90s. I'd also like to see more horsemen filled in (Sunfire, Moon Knight, Gambit, etc.), I guess, though I'd be really sad for Hulk fans if we got Horseman Hulk before any of the more Hulk-line-specific variants.

I think Walgreens shifting from Fantastic Four to X-Men for exclusives is a great opportunity to knock out some X-Men characters.

1. Marvel NOW Magneto (White sleeveless costume to go along with Cyclops, Magik, and the upcoming Emma Frost).  With the Apocalypse wave head, Moon Knight cape, and X-Force Deadpool belt it would be a great build with little to no new parts required (just some secondaries for parts of the costume).

2. Modern Rogue (the unreleased version we’ve seen).

3. X-Men Warpath (modern red and blue costume).  I’m still hoping a Thunderbird style X-Force costume version is coming in the X-Force wave, and this would be a great way to do the modern variant.

4. Jim Lee style Jean Grey.  I’m hoping for a redo with one of the updated female bucks so it doesn’t have the old style hip joint that the Rocket Raccoon wave had.  An alternate ponytail head sculpt would help to differentiate it from the original release.

5. Banshee in his blue and gold X-Men uniform.

6.  Morph.

7. Longshot.

8. Classic Havok.

9. Utopia costume blue and white Angel.

10. Utopia costume Emma Frost (not likely, I know, given the black costume Emma already planned).

Beyond Walgreens, I think other retailers looking to pick up an exclusive might be a good option.

- I’d love a 90’s X-Factor box set with Havok, Polaris, Wolfsbane, and Strong Guy.

- One way or another, a Giant Size X-Men Storm and Thunderbird / Warpath.  If Giant Size X-Men Storm isn’t part of the Retro wave and Warpath isn’t part of the X-Force wave them put these two together with a green and yellow Banshee for an 80th Anniversary 3 pack.  I’d even take an Apocalypse wave Wolverine with the Retro belt to make it a 4 pack, or that plus a Dark Phoenix 2 pack Cyclops re-release to make it a 5 pack.

My want list is nearing completion. All that remains is:

Banshee

Longshot

Rachel Grey

Pyro

Avalanche

I would love to see them finish off the Outback team and the Giant Size team that first appeared in the mid 70s. Maybe a classic Shadowcat in her blue 80s outfit.

I second most everyones' lists. I like the idea of finishing some of the teams already started.

Avalanche to go with Pyro, Mystique, Blob

Storm, and Thunderbird to go with the Deadly Genesis team.

The 80's and 90's had some awesome characters and costumes.

90's Havok was cool.

I'd love some more Age Of Apocalypse figures. They did a good job of capturing the Jim Lee style on the new Beast figure, if they could do some Joe Madureira AoA X-Men that would be sweet.

How about Wolverine as Death? I'm surprised we haven't gotten that one. I'm surprised they are doing Patch! How about the tuxedo Patch.

it's cuz Chris Claremont and Jim Lee did a bang up job creating some new villains and revamping some old ones during that time. They did particularly well rebranding members of the Brotherhood and giving them some personality and even likeability.

I'm hoping for:

Outback Rogue (green corset)

Longshot

Lady Deathstrike

Pyro

Marrow

Monet

Wolfsbane

90's Storm (silver or black costume)

90's Jean Grey (redo)

Meggan

Goblin Queen (Madelyn Pryor)

And (big drumroll, please) Strong Guy, Mr. Guido Carosella

Along with a ton of others.

Off the top of my head, I'd still like Armor and Nimrod. Rictor too. C'mon, Hasbro. Shatterstar is getting lonely!

A redone Warpath would be pretty cool as well. And obviously that could likely be reused for a Thunderbird (though I really don't care about him; not one of Len Wein's stronger concepts).

Wolfsbane would be a no-brainer since she'd have parts that would be an easy reuse for Feral.

You're right about all that, of course. I'm just not sure specifically why all my hero preferences run more 80s when my villain preferences are more 90s. You think Claremont's focus had just shifted from heroes to villains by then? I guess a lot of it is just costumes too, because it was a lot of the same heroes in the 80s and 90s. They just looked better in the 80s (along with everyone else #kiddingnotkidding).

I've been thinking about this question a lot.  I am pretty excited just to see so many X-Characters coming, that I don't know if I have gotten to the "I'd really like to see ___" mind set yet.  A Mojo or Brood BAF would be cool, maybe a more classic Iceman and Warpath, but the hype train is real and I am just aboard for the ride.

I thought I was the only one who wanted some new Brood figures, but the real question is how they can sensibly be done. Sure, the queen could be a BAF. the last one looked good but had zero articulation and the damn thing was impossible to keep together. One of the legs from mine disappeared into the abyss, never to be found again. How would they do the warriors though. I suppose they could do them as a single pack and include a couple of extra heads and tentacle arms so they could be plugged into other figures and other figures parts can be plugged into them. They would have to look pretty damn awesome though to assure they would sell at general retail. I imagine it would be similar to Maddrox. Not everyone would want one, but enough of us hardcore collectors would buy multiples to offset that. Ultimately, i think there's a very slim chance this actually happens. It would be cool though.

Some kind of reissue of Cyclops (the most recent one) would be great for me. I’m so no willing to pay like 80 for that. Maybe another two pack. Cyclops and classic Jean?

Maybe a Jim lee two pack with Cyclops and Jean
