I would swear that looks like a better....more articulated.......version of an old Diamond Select figure.....the Peter headsculpt really does it for me, you could do far worse than getting this guy for your Spider-man figure.

Are you talking about the Spectacular Spider Man that was a Disney Store Exclusive? That figure is from 2 years ago I guess. I have it and it's great.

had to Google it and yes! that's it.... outstanding looking figure, and this one appears to be the same... Spidey really can bring out the best in sculptors

Can the magnets support his weight in upside down poses? Say squatting/crouching on the metal ceiling of a shelf?

I'm not a huge fan of the blue paint they used, but maybe it's just pictures that make it look weird? It seems too glossy or something, but I'm not sure.
