Today I take a look at the new 4" Sony Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse Miles Morales Spider-Man figure which is offered as a pack-in exclusive for the Walmart Blu-ray release of the film.

I love that they are doing these.  A throwback to the vhs pack in figures I loved as a kid.  I think I still have my Indian in the Cupboard figure.

Whoa that interchangeable arm is a nice touch! I did not expect that!

The unmask headsculpt is the best thing about this figure. Makes me wish Hasbro gave us one with their Marvel Legends version.

It’s a shame that a movie this beautiful gets figures that don’t do it aesthetic justice. This might be the closest line, but it’s an obvious cash grab/incentive to pick up the physical copy of the movie. Not sure it was even needed.  

Marvel Legends applied movie-inspired paint to their current sculpts and bucks. Doesn’t truly capture the look of the character design in the movie. 

I really wish we could get an articulated version of the character designs in the movie. Maybe SHF or MAFEX? I really want a King Pin from the movie. I’ve even complentated tracking down an old ToyBiz Strong Man and have a try customizing him haha.

I think they released a special numbered edition for the digital version as well.  But I agree, it would be awesome to see more film accurate versions.  A Kingpin would be massive! Haha
