MP10 Captain America Style Not Optimus Prime Rolling Out in June

Our sister site TFormers.com is reporting that a company named Lewin Resources is doing a 3rd party transforming robot toy that is a mash-up between what looks like Optimus Prime and Captain America. Here are the specifications for the figure.

I dig it.  I still have all of the Marvel Transformers crossover toys from a decade or so ago.  Those  were pretty cool and nowhere near this detailed.

A couple other news sites had info about this five days ago, so the timing isn't right for an April Fool's joke, and a few etailers have preorders for it, so it would indeed appear to be about as real as anything else.

That's what I thought!  If not, it may be the best executed April Fool's joke in the history of Toys.

It's gonna be an expensive figure, too.  Lewin's regular Optimus sells for $500-$600.  It's also quite large.

My bad.  $350 - $600.  I just checked Lewin's website.  Others are jacking up the price significantly.
