David Harbour is the latest to join Scarlett Johansson and Florence Pugh in the forthcoming Black Widow standalone from Disney and Marvel Studios.  No word on who the Stranger Things and Hellboy reboot actor will be playing or the plot of the film will be except the film will focus on Johansson’s Russian spy-turned-Avenger Natasha Romanoff (aka Black Widow) who was first introduced in Iron Man 2 in 2010.  The project is being directed by Cate Shortland with filming to begin in June.

Sources are claiming that Rachel Weisz is a person of interest for the film but currently there are no negotiations taking place as no official offer has been made.

"Though a deal has not yet been completed, sources tell Variety that talks are headed in that direction, with strong interest from both sides of negotiations.

Marvel had no comment on the talks, and reps for Weisz’s team could not be reached for comment."

I'm gonna go ahead and trust Variety's sources over Deadline's.                                                                                      Also, I really like David Harbour and Rachel Weisz, and I hope to see them both in the Black Widow movie along with Julie Delpy returning as Madame B.
