I'm having a really hard time working out what to do with the Hulk figure from the two-pack. I don't really care about non-X-Men characters (with a few exceptions), but the collector in me is having a hard time with the idea of piecing out part of a set. I need the Wolverine, because for some reason my brain forces me to buy every X-Men-related figure even when they're in a costume I don't care for (and they'd be like the 10th or 11th version of that character in my collection), but Hulk would be a bit of a sore thumb in my display. Ugh. OCPD stops being fun when it causes conflicting urges.

I don't think you'll have any problem selling off the Hulk figure.  Although right now some places like dorksidetoys allow you to order FA Wolverine separately (I think they wanted $20 for him), so that's an option if you don't feel like shelling out $60 .  And my guess is that a lot of people will be selling FA Wolverine on ebay once the set comes out.  Nothing against FA Wolvie but i think most people are getting this set for Hulk (at least, that's who i'd be getting the set for).

Yeah, I know. I'm just caught between the competing urges of: 1) Hulk is not X-related, so he doesn't really fit my collection, but 2) he's part of a set I want, which I wouldn't really want to break up. I'm 100% sure Hulk's the headliner here, and I'd have no problem selling him. I just have to see which urge wins out, I suppose. Maybe I'll have the two of them fight the Wendigo, and call it a day.

What are you talking about "Not X-Related?" Wolverine, arguably THE X-Man, made his first appearance in the Hulk's book. If that doesn't buy Big Green some serious "X" street-cred' I don't know what will.

not to mention that there has been no other hero to battle the Jade Giant more then Wolverine. Plus if you are getting Wendigo then you NEED Hulk to recreate that comic.

I know $60 for toys is a little tough to swallow, no matter what you're getting, but it feels in line with the line's other pricing to me. Hulk easily has twice as much mass as your average figure, and definitely would've been $40 on his own. Obviously if you don't want one or the other figure, that complicates the math, but it feels like a fair ask if you want both. And Colossus/Juggernaut almost feels like a deal, with Juggernaut being Hulk-sized and Colossus being well on the bigger side of a standard single figure, just kind of a bummer for those of us who already built their Juggernaut BAF.

I feel the same way, I was really excited when that Cap was shown and my excitement went down when I found out it was Walmart exclusive.
