Recommended Posts

Hey guys, kinda new here... What MCU characters would do you think need an action figure... Specially, those who haven't had any representation in the Marvel Legends line, for example Whiplash...

To me there's only a few glaring ommisions from the MCU Marvel Legends.

1. Whiplash (IM2) - IMO, the coolest IM villain in the series. They did him in the old MU line.

2. Destroyer (Thor) - again, they did him in MU, I can't believe he hasn't been on more people's lists.

3. Collector (GOTG) - kinda sad his creepy weirdo pedo brother jumped ahead and made the cut after just one appearance.

4. Wong (Doctor Strange) - he's become too big a presence in the MCU to not get a figure. C'mon, Luis gets a figure before this guy?

5. Heimdal (Thor 1,2 & 3) - Thor's bestie who died in the line of duty. What's a guy gotta do to get some respect?

I for one really don't care for any of the civilian characters but I suppose I can understand why others might want them.

I would also be all in for The Warriors 3 (RIP) and Agents of SHIELD, but they would most definitely have to be 3 packs because, other than Quake, I don't really see many of them doing too well as single cards.

1 - Iron Man MK 85 (I think it's inevitable, but since it hasn't been announced, I'm not going to assume it exists until it does)

2 - Whiplash

3 - War Machine MK IV

4 - Iron Monger (I mean, he did get a figure in the Iron Man movie line, but I'm going to cheat and include him here since it wasn't strictly Marvel Legends and it was out of scale)

5 - Ultron Prime MK III

1. Malekith (despite people hating on this movie, love how he looked here)

2. Kurse

3. Outrider

4. Chituari

5. Abomination / AOS Quake (why no quake fig comic or MCU)

Honorable Mentions : Howard The Duck (2-pack with Cosmo), Heimdall, Meik (shoulda been in a 2-pack with Korg), Quantum Realm Janet Van Dyne (I.E. how she looked in Pop Form w/Helmet), Kraglin (just because he's such a great character), The Collector and GSP accurate Batroc (cause thats rad)

I really want to see more iron man armors. I think it'd be awesome if hasbro decided to make a hall of armors mini line and release at least the mark 1-7 with display cases. I would buy that in a heartbeat.

I would also love to see an updated Iron Monger, maybe also a Destroyer from Thor. Those figures would be sick. Also, I kinda wanna see the mark 85 in marvel legends form

I think that maybe seeing a BAF armored whiplash would be so dope. Or maybe it could be in a 2 or 3 pack with some hammer drones

Quicksilver

Whiplash

Chitauri Warrior

Baron Von Strucker (I know, I know, but I think it would look really cool!)

Heimdall

Wong

These all seem like perfect candidates for 10th Anniversary releases, tho Wong will probably get a release along with the next Doctor Strange movie.

    • In this segment called Marvelous Photo Of The Day, we spotlight awesome Toy Photography from some of the hottest photographers on the Internet today. For today we are spotlighting Photographer Aliska and her photo of the Marvel One:12 Collective Daredevil figure titled "Beat To Hell". You can purchase One:12 Collective figures from our sponsor Megalopolis.Toys.   "Beat To Hell" By Aliska Be sure to give Aliska a follow on Instagram and let her know what you think of their work in the comments below.
    • Believe it or not, they did release a Satana back in the 2013 SDCC Exclusive Thunderbolts boxed set.  It's not the classic look of course, but was pretty far from toned down for Hasbro.
    • That's what I'm holding out hope for. Too true, sad, but true.
    • I have to say the Walgreen's Invisible Woman is my favorite for three reasons: 1) she was my very first Marvel Legends figure, my gateway into collecting this brand; 2) Sue is my favorite female Marvel superhero; and 3) it's a good-looking figure with cool interchangeable hands, an attractive body and head sculpt--and H.E.R.B.I.E.! Other female Marvel Legends I really like are: Spider-Gwen Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew, original costume) Black Widow (vintage wave) The Enchantress Female characters that I want Hasbro to release are: Captain Marvel II/Photon/Spectrum (classic Monica Rambeau) She-Hulk (either from the Savage or Sensational She-Hulk comics, not the new version) Magik (classic New Mutants costume with the eldritch armored arm and a reasonable-sized sword) Gamora (original appearance, green fishnet-looking costume) Satana, the Devil's Daughter (I doubt this will happen) Colleen Wing (my Misty Knight figure needs her partner) Clea (Doctor Strange's paramour) Tigra Princess Python (from the Circus of Crime, complete with giant bendy-wire snake that can wrap around her) Rogue (original green costume, hood, short hair) The Wasp is another one of my favorite Marvel women, and I have both of her comic figures, but I really would like to see another based on one of her more iconic costumes from either the '70s or '80s.
    • Carol Danvers Ms Marvel hands down. She looks like how a real woman looks (I know, I collect toys, how would I know what a real woman should look like). Her proportions are perfect to me. She is one character that Hasbro and even Toybiz seems to just knock out of the park. Loved the Toybiz’s version and the Hasbro one upped that version as well. A few others are Mockingbird (great sculpt and costume), Photon (or was she Pulsar? Beautiful face) MCU Wasp was a pleasant surprise, and i thought the Riders Black Widow was a welcome minor change to her usual offering
