I am excited to see the new movie, it just doesn't seem like its gonna be a masterpiece, but that doesn't matter to me. I'm just going to go with my family and have a good time with them. That's what matters most to me, sharing something with my family

yep! you'll have a good time regardless :)

Thanks for the review! About what I expected, but I'm sure I'll still enjoy it. A nice re-expansion of the universe following the aftermath of End Game.

I do agree with others that forcing the movie to connect to a grander universe does tend to make it weaker on it's own. (just like the ASM films attempting to create their own Sony-verse)

Tobey was a great Spidey, but he just couldn't nail his humor at all. You're supposed to laugh with Spidey, not at him!

Garfield I couldn't suspend my disbelief that this confident, handsome, "loser," was Peter Parker. And when he first becomes Spidey, he's an angst-filled jerk! And that costume made from worn-out basketballs...

I almost can forgive ASM 2 because of how perfect Spidey's costume looked, until I remembered it copied all the horrible things from Spider-Man 3 (Having 3 villains, Harry as Green Goblin again, this time made worse cause there was no backstory or development leading up to their inevitable falling out.)

Tom Holland brought levity and drama to the character, and while I don't like how much assistance Tony has given him, it is a lot easier to suspend my disbelief that a 15-year old was able to construct his suit and gadgets with a little help...
