At last....the iconic Iron Man armor! We got to see a near perfect version with the Iron Monger BAF and the Maria Hill 2 pack, and now we get the definitive suit. The glimmering gold is perfect for the Golden Avenger....cant tell if that's a metallic red but it looks good. Of the two helmets, the original looks like the eye slits are too far apart to allow the wearer to see thru them, but the Anthony Stark head is perfect! AND we get matching fists and repulsor hands! AND we get new blast effects, so Iron Man has repulsors  plus boot jets! Only thing to make those cooler would've been to make them translucent, but seriously....this IS Iron Man. AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!

Sharp looking figure, but I'll pass. I've lost track of how many Marvel Legends Iron Man figures they've made now.

Would love to have this next to the Legends MCU Iron Man mark 85 (when they finally make it).

Been a long time wait for a great classic bronze age Ironman by Hasbro but I have to say the wait was worth it! Not a huge fan of the Alex Ross helmet, that will go in the bin. The other helmet is perfect & makes me think they went off the art of Bob Layton whom imo is one of the 3 best IM artists ever along with George Perez, early JRJR, & John Byrne. Can't wait to buy this great figure. I would think he will be re-released again possibly in a vintage wave sporting his more comic book yellow/red look & with alternate pointy mask helmet as well.

This figure just makes me so very happy! As a Bronze Age Baby, this is a most fitting homage to good ol' shellhead! The metallic paint, the bonus Tony head and hands are all wins! Can't wait to have him in my hands.

If we don't see an Iron Man 2020 using these parts released next year it would be criminal neglect man, lol. Actually, a 2-pack with a repainted Machine Man would be most fitting indeed. Speaking of which, that mini series was awesome and interestingly prescient in some interesting ways. A pity we don't have flying cars yet though, lol.

Digibashing Machine Man 2020 already makes me really want a 2020 2 Pack

Care to share the image, friend? I'd love to see it, and it would be good for the younger fans here who may not be aware if MM 2020.

I think it's a no brainer that Hasbro is making an Ironman 2020 next yr, my main wants are these guys right here.

I love how this Iron man looks! The helmet I prefer is the one that's already on him. it's the one i remember the most as my definitive Iron Man. Also some added paint or a wash on the red parts would really make this pop.

Vast majority are MCU related, this is only the 3rd time in the Toybiz/Hasbro era that a Bronze age classic 70s-80s Ironman figure has been done & they hit a massive HR this time! This is the definitive perfectly scaled classic Ironman. Unless you just collect MCU related figs, I really think you'd be regretting passing up this stellar version of classic comic based Ironman.  The 2 pictured were great for their time but a tad on the thin side. The other pic is of the very 1st classic Bronze age Ironman done by Toybiz back in 2003 I believe, again, great for it's time but had Gorilla arms that would not go down to it's sides. They also made stealth versions of both the Toybiz & Hasbro versions as well. But as you can see in the 3rd pic, the new 80th anniv version takes the cake! I can see Hasbro giving us a stealth version of this one as well as this version of him with pointy mask helmet as well.

I have zero doubt Hasbro will be re-releasing him in his comic accurate colors sometime within the next 6-12 months! This figure screams Bob Layton to me!

Wouldn't mind 80th anniv AR style versions of all these armors in the background, not at all!

Great breakdown on the history of the figure and I'm in complete agreement about the 80th being the absolute, hands down, best version. I like the other ones as well and think they're great in their own way, but nothing is touching the 80th Anniversary Iron Man.

(Although I would love to see him with the yellow instead of gold armor like the 2 pack figure as featured above)

For today we are spotlighting Photographer Aliska and her photo of the Marvel One:12 Collective Daredevil figure titled "Beat To Hell". • Believe it or not, they did release a Satana back in the 2013 SDCC Exclusive Thunderbolts boxed set.  It's not the classic look of course, but was pretty far from toned down for Hasbro.
    • That's what I'm holding out hope for. Too true, sad, but true.
    • I have to say the Walgreen's Invisible Woman is my favorite for three reasons: 1) she was my very first Marvel Legends figure, my gateway into collecting this brand; 2) Sue is my favorite female Marvel superhero; and 3) it's a good-looking figure with cool interchangeable hands, an attractive body and head sculpt--and H.E.R.B.I.E.! Other female Marvel Legends I really like are: Spider-Gwen Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew, original costume) Black Widow (vintage wave) The Enchantress Female characters that I want Hasbro to release are: Captain Marvel II/Photon/Spectrum (classic Monica Rambeau) She-Hulk (either from the Savage or Sensational She-Hulk comics, not the new version) Magik (classic New Mutants costume with the eldritch armored arm and a reasonable-sized sword) Gamora (original appearance, green fishnet-looking costume) Satana, the Devil's Daughter (I doubt this will happen) Colleen Wing (my Misty Knight figure needs her partner) Clea (Doctor Strange's paramour) Tigra Princess Python (from the Circus of Crime, complete with giant bendy-wire snake that can wrap around her) Rogue (original green costume, hood, short hair) The Wasp is another one of my favorite Marvel women, and I have both of her comic figures, but I really would like to see another based on one of her more iconic costumes from either the '70s or '80s.
    • Carol Danvers Ms Marvel hands down. She looks like how a real woman looks (I know, I collect toys, how would I know what a real woman should look like). Her proportions are perfect to me. She is one character that Hasbro and even Toybiz seems to just knock out of the park. Loved the Toybiz’s version and the Hasbro one upped that version as well. A few others are Mockingbird (great sculpt and costume), Photon (or was she Pulsar? Beautiful face) MCU Wasp was a pleasant surprise, and i thought the Riders Black Widow was a welcome minor change to her usual offering
