Arcade1Up has opened pre-sales for a special edition of Capcom’s Marvel Super Heroes home arcade machine in celebration of the 80th anniversary of Marvel Entertainment.

The limited edition Capcom’s Marvel Super Heroes arcade cabinet will feature exclusive artwork, a light-up marquee, and Sanwa buttons and joysticks. With a limited run of 8,000, this new Marvel cabinet, available only through Arcade1Up.com, will include Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom and The Punisher.

“With the excitement around our recently announced Marvel cabinet, we wanted to provide our hardcore fans with something special to celebrate Marvel’s birthday," said Scott Bachrach, CEO, Tastemakers, LLC. "We could not be happier with having a licensing partner like Marvel, which has been driving the world of pop-culture to new and exciting territories for the last 80 years.”

Having taken the home gaming experience by storm with some of the most popular games from the 70s, 80s, and 90s, Arcade1Up has continued to expand its game library and bring fans the classic titles and features they want to see.

Arcade1Up will be introducing three new machines to their core line-up this fall, including Capcom’s Marvel Super Heroes, Konami’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Home and Atari’s Star Wars cabinet.

I still play these games every once in a while. Always been a big marvel and capcom fan and MSH was always my top favorite as I have some fun history with it. XCOTA was a favorite as well which is awesome that they pack both in this guy. I wonder how easy it is to mod to possibly put other stuff in it. Not a fan of how small they are but do love the panel art thats authentic to the arcade version of MSH and its one of my favorite comic art time periods.
