Hello, JC!  Thanks for yet another honest, fair and comprehensive review of Marvel Legends figures!  All of us out here in the "internet ether" appreciate you more than you know!  I apologize for the (potential) inappropriateness of my question here, but I am too ignorant to PM you directly.  And, perhaps, my question will interest other collectors of Marvel Legends figures.  My question concerns stands for six-inch Marvel Legends action figures.  I've tried a few...and none are acceptable.  The peg is always too large or too small.  I've noticed that Hasbro simply uses a hot glue gun when they display their figures at conventions.  This, obviously, is unacceptable to collectors.  Thus, my question: are you aware of a source for stands that work perfectly for most six-inch Marvel Legends figures?  In any event, thanks again for another terrific review!

I am just glad that Hasbro actually put some effort and gave Iron man somewhat shinny red instead of this shameful red plastic they used for previous iron man figures.

That shield is not the one Iron Man used against Thanos. It's the one he materializes to block Cull Obsidian's attack before using the drone/blasters combo (happens right after he suits up for the first time), so its size is accurate (though in the movie it had blue accents as well). The cannons are the ones he uses with the drones, they form around his arm instead of taking up the entire gauntlet, so that's what they're smaller than you expected.

I use the Tamashii Nations Act4 stands. They work ok for my needs.

So Iron Man gets interchangeable hands and Spidey doesn't, what's the big idea?

I know! I think it's a missed opportunity. At least they could've given us fists, if you had the original Iron Spider you could swap the twhip hands with the fists.

That was why I skipped the general release Iron Spider, it had no interchangeable hands and now the 2 packs does the same thing.

Yeah I noticed that re-watching IW today that the shield is smaller in the NYC battle than when he fights Thanos. I would have preferred the larger version but technically it is fairly accurate to that first one. He also used a more circular looking shield in the NYC battle as well.

I don't use figure stands for my Marvel Legends so I don't really know. Hasbro's never made any official ones so you would likely have to resort to customized ones or flight stands. Someone else on here might be able to give you a better recommendation.

Just got shipping notice from TRU today that my set has shipped.  If no one answers your question by the time I get it, I'll test it out.  That is actually what I had planned to do anyways.

Yup.  The weapons around his hands are supposed to this one.  So, perhaps it's best to use the fists when using that accessory.

I'm still waiting for my pre-order, so I get excited to see pics of it.

Even I already have previous releases of Iron man and Iron Spider man, still I'm happy I will be getting these improved and upgraded versions. I was lucky enough not to get the first Iron man, it didn't have the BAF piece so I just skipped on it. Unfortunately, I had to get the stupid light up feature Iron man in the 10 years three pack.

It would be cool if they added unmasked head of Tony Stark and maybe some additional hands for Spider man as well. Actually, I think this is my only gripe with this two pack.

I make my own custom stands from bendy wire.🤓

Yeah, I plan to pose this figure with the fisted hands. I feel Hasbro could've done us a solid and include pegholes in the blasters, but I think the space is too narrow so they kinda winged it.

It looks ok on him, but the hole is too big and the head will just sit on the peg.

I just realized the angle of the picture makes his head look too big, but in person, it does look good.  I should have took the picture from a slightly lower angle.

However, like I mentioned, the head just sits on the peg and does not hold at all.

I don't own previous versions of these figures so I may get this plus the accessories are a nice touch. At first, when I saw the Peter Parker headsculpt I didn't liked it that much but now seeing this review I really like it.

I'm happy with this set for the most part. The Iron Spider is cool but the red on it is still too light and the waldoes could've been a little more shiny. Iron Man looks great except for his helmet. The gold part that overlays on the side from the cheek bone aren't supposed to stick out that much and the soldier pads aren't there. But other than that it looks good. I like that the accessories are accurate but it would've been cool to get a couple more from the battle on Titan. All the nano weapons are from the fight between Cull Obsidion and Ebony Maw.

    • If we got one or two all MCU Legends waves for the Disney+ shows including Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wandavision, Loki, What If...?, and Hawkeye then what 6-7 figures would you want in the wave and who would be the BAF? Maybe even two waves if you want. For me it would be. Wave One: 1. Falcon 2. Bucky 3. U.S. Agent 4. Baron Zemo 5.  Sharon Carter 6. Lady Loki/ Enchantress (Whoever Sophia Di Martino is playing) BAF: Maybe Red Hulk but I doubt it (The Thunderbolts may be set up in Falcon and thet Winter Soldier, but I doubt that we would actually see Red Hulk) Wave Two: 1. Agatha Harkness (Or the Grim Reaper or whoever the villain of the series is) 2. Darcy/Jimmy Woo/ Monica Rambeau/ Whoever Kathryn Hahn is playing which might actually be Agatha Harkness 3. The Watcher 4. Captain Carter 5.  Zombie Cap 6. Kate Bishop (Should come with Lucky the Pizza dog who was teased in recent concept art) BAF: Maybe Steve Rogers' Iron Man amour from What If...?
    • Iceman was awesome looking in AoA. I like when they can pull of a weird sized figure. Giant spiked shoulders and fists. Huge, ice-slide body. Could be cool.
    • Didn't he have some giant sized appearances in his battle with Magneto in Amazing X-Men? I was actually thinking of the sentinels as a BAF the other day. They would indeed be cool. Could Hasbro do something that big anymore? The TB one was huge, and Fin Fang Foom was huge. How expensive would that line have to be to accommodate the cost of so much plastic. Maybe they choose all small characters: Lava-lamp Shadow King with a Sentinel leg. Tiny Sugarman a la X-Men Omega with the torso....
    • Maybe there's something to it, maybe not, but you can make the argument that she is showing a lot of skin, but anyone who has (or has even seen) the figure knows she has been very obviously "uncurved" on one of the character's most prominent "assets". Not being a "perv" but if they'd had somehow combined the accuracy of the Puck wave figure and the quality of this figure, it woulda been just that much better. It's a great figure with an amazing head sculpt but things like this and also the abandonment of the Moonstone mold and the lack of a very classic character such as Tigra (guarantee, she will get the bodysuit treatment) at least give the impression that there is an effort to tone down the female figures. There is no proof, nobody's offered an official statement, and any time on of the creative team has been cornered with the question they've been able to masterfully sidestep the issue. I'm sure someone's ready to blast out with the Angela figure and that's a great argument, but that was one great effort from a few years ago and it's been downhill ever since.
    • I already have the classic versions of the FF, with that I don't really need any new versions of the original 4. (unless they update Human Torch on the Sunfire mold. Wave 3: 1. The Watcher W/FLIGHT STAND (Um hello, Been waiting on this) 2. Classic Ronan 3. Champion 4. Psycho Man 5. Future Foundation Doom 6. Molecule Man    BAF: Dragon Man, Rawr! Possible substitutes: Alternate BAF: Classic BLASTAAR or Annihilus Baghead Spider-man, FF She-hulk (Obviously), Alternate-Attachments for Mr. Fantastic, Firelord, Kang, Mole-man, FF Wolverine.
