I like the costume design in the movie, but damn, I just don’t think it translates well to figure form

it really does look cheap for some reason, have you seen any mods for this figure? with a matte clear coat and painting the web lines it looks so much better

Very bad looking figure. I really hope that Mafex makes a figure for this costume. The SHF one looks really good tho so I'll probably get that one.

Yeah, I used a spray on clear coat over the whole figure.  After it dried I then used a calligraphy pen to fill in the weblines.  I'll admit I'm not a great customizer, but it looks a lot better now in my opinion.  If you do this, just be careful how thick the clear coat goes on.

I actually thought of passing on this one, but after getting it and playing with it, it ain't that bad, actually I kinda liked it. Only thing I wish it had was a Tom Holland head.

Agree completely!! I was gonna pass... but it turned out waaaaay better than expected

I'm still thinking if I should get this figure or not, I really loved the costume in the movie but the figure turned out so bland looking. I may get it and repaint it or something.

The figure in hand is not bland at all, IMO. It's only the red on the chest that pops out a lot, but posing it along other figures it stands out and not sorely. Very fun to pose, with better articulation on the hips than the previous releases. Although, I have a feeling we're gonna see it pop up in a 2-pack with it as a re-release... so I wouldn't jump on it unless you saw it at discount or really wanted it and couldn't afford it never coming out again.
