What member of Alpha Flight do you want to see get the Marvel Legends treatment next?

Recommended Posts

I'd love to see Box and with some retooling of the Kree Sentry it could probably be done fairly easily (the more modern one, anyway), but I'm afraid he's most likely a "no-show" as my boy Guido (YES!!!!) has been established as the BAF for this wave. All remaining original members of Alpha Flight are fair game and honestly they can all pretty much be done as simple repaints with some auxiliary parts (belts, satchels, wrist bands, etc.), so nothing would surprise me at this point and I'd be pretty much happy with anything.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we get 3 reveals this year. Yes, I said it and I'm fully sane. I'm gonna predict we see a Shaman on the Bucky Cap buck for representation in the wave and a Northstar (Sunfire buck) & Aurora (Kat Bishop buck) 2 pack seperately. Lock it down. Final Answer.

can't wait til tomorrow reveal. If they don't reveal any Canadian (beside Wolverine) never mind alpha flight, I'd be very pissed.

It is tomorrow isn't it?

(so am I joking? I'd be smiling with whatever they reveal.)

I'm pretty sure it's today, actually, in a little under four hours.

LOL! We'll be sure to let you know, buddy, if Facebook doesn't ruin for you first. Like you though, as long as it's something I don't already have, I'll be happy with whatever. Doesn't mean I won't utter a few WTF's or C'mon! or Really?'s afterward. Then I'll submit like a good little fanboy and plunk my money on the counter like the rest of the chumps. Damn, sometimes it sucks being a toy nerd.

The picture Hasbro used on Instagram to remind people about today's panel was the new Gladiator and X-Force Wolverine figures fighting each other... in the snow. It's looking especially likely that Alpha Flight's getting a little more love soon.

I definitely would want Snowbird.   I remember reading the comic book "snow blind" where it was mostly blank white panels.  My friends thought it was a ripoff of an issue, but I liked the artistic/creative approach it took.

The Twins of Aurora and Northstar of course as my second choice, followed by Shaman.   I'd like a Marina figure to round out the original roster as I have the BAF Puck.    Kind of not a fan of Guardian, because of issue 12 of Alpha Flight.

I'm watching the Canada Expo.

I'm so getting that Amazon Alpha Flight box set exclusive.  Canada can preorder the set tomorrow.  Not sure when the USA Amazon will have it for preorder.

I was excited to pre-order the Alpha Flight box set on Amazon for an early Dec shipping!  I can’t wait to complete the team with the new Guardian and my old white ToyBiz Sasquatch.

I was going to say Box or Puck, but it looks like we're getting a Puck in December!

I haven't decided if I'm going to get this box set or not, but looking at the pics, I gotta say... I love the head sculpts on Northstar and Shaman!

So I totally missed the Alpha Flight reveal until just now.  That's one way to pretty much complete a team in one fell swoop (Yeah I know we're missing Box and Marinna but still).

    • Believe it or not, they did release a Satana back in the 2013 SDCC Exclusive Thunderbolts boxed set.  It's not the classic look of course, but was pretty far from toned down for Hasbro.
    • That's what I'm holding out hope for. Too true, sad, but true.
    • I have to say the Walgreen's Invisible Woman is my favorite for three reasons: 1) she was my very first Marvel Legends figure, my gateway into collecting this brand; 2) Sue is my favorite female Marvel superhero; and 3) it's a good-looking figure with cool interchangeable hands, an attractive body and head sculpt--and H.E.R.B.I.E.! Other female Marvel Legends I really like are: Spider-Gwen Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew, original costume) Black Widow (vintage wave) The Enchantress Female characters that I want Hasbro to release are: Captain Marvel II/Photon/Spectrum (classic Monica Rambeau) She-Hulk (either from the Savage or Sensational She-Hulk comics, not the new version) Magik (classic New Mutants costume with the eldritch armored arm and a reasonable-sized sword) Gamora (original appearance, green fishnet-looking costume) Satana, the Devil's Daughter (I doubt this will happen) Colleen Wing (my Misty Knight figure needs her partner) Clea (Doctor Strange's paramour) Tigra Princess Python (from the Circus of Crime, complete with giant bendy-wire snake that can wrap around her) Rogue (original green costume, hood, short hair) The Wasp is another one of my favorite Marvel women, and I have both of her comic figures, but I really would like to see another based on one of her more iconic costumes from either the '70s or '80s.
    • Carol Danvers Ms Marvel hands down. She looks like how a real woman looks (I know, I collect toys, how would I know what a real woman should look like). Her proportions are perfect to me. She is one character that Hasbro and even Toybiz seems to just knock out of the park. Loved the Toybiz’s version and the Hasbro one upped that version as well. A few others are Mockingbird (great sculpt and costume), Photon (or was she Pulsar? Beautiful face) MCU Wasp was a pleasant surprise, and i thought the Riders Black Widow was a welcome minor change to her usual offering
