Marvel Legends Grey Hulk Action Figure Coming From Hasbro?!?

Recommended Posts

Could be based on McFarland's version? Shame they couldn't have put it on a smaller scaled buck as original Grey Hulk was only bout 6'6.

The figure looks more McFarlane than Kirby to me, but I can certainly see a little of both in there.  Also, I'm not contesting the height differences between green and grey, I'm just saying that in this particular piece, it looks to me like two characters of equal size - one standing straight and the other hunching.

Yeah but it's Mcfarlane style of the FA version. Not nitpicking but for me this would make the perfect version to recreate a number of early appearance. Either way we are one step closer to getting more color hulk. Red (both versions), Skaar, Dark, Devil etc.

I wouldn't mind  the  John Byrne  "swim trunks mindless" Hulk from his run when Banner got separated from the Hulk. Rulk as well would be cool. I was never into Skarr or any other ripoff characters.

Gotta say he looks cool! I wasn't able to place my order, by the time I heard about it, it was gone. Interesting how some of these figures are released without Hasbro actually announcing them.

Looks pretty good. Must be coming very soon since we have packaged images now. I just hate the fact that there aren't any other hands. At least one right fist would've been enough for me. I wish the in hand images showed the Hulk with out the ripped jacket.

Im waiting for my Hulk vs Wolverine 2-Pack to arrive and Im pretty much set for hulk figures with that one, if anything I wouldnt mind a Red Hulk using this body, but Ive never been a huge hulk fan so having the green one is enough for me, that being said this figure looks really nice and I would buy it if I was a bigger Hulk fan, as is Ill let bigger hulk fans pick these up.

Definitely looks pretty awesome, and IMO far better than the SDCC version since its colors all match. I look forward to seeing more Hulks on this buck. Red Hulk and Maestro are going to look so sick.  Hell even smart hulk.. man so many im thinking of now..

I need this Hulk, I assume he will be available thru online retailers or will be an Amazon exclusive and most likely be priced at around $35. I'm ok with that, just love this Hulk sculpt!!!

This is too big for the gray Hulk but I’m still getting it. Looks awesome. If it looked more like Mcfarlane’s version I’d be a happy clam.

It looks sweet. I kind of wish it wasnt on the retro card though because now I might have to buy two.

An update on this figure. Word from a gamestop employee has said that this figure has shown up in their system. If this is right then it is not a amazon exclusive. He also mentioned that there is a possible retro deadpool that is the same price as the hulk. We're waiting on confirmation if this is true or not.

Sorry for the Double post I Probably should mention this. Like the Transformers products that were re-solicitated as fan Channel exclusives. Both Grey Hulk and this Upcoming Vintage Deadpool were Meant to be this years Hascon Exclusives if the Convention wasn't "postponed". How do we know this? Well Hasbro forgot to remove it from their  Product description and Shipping manifest.

Deadpool (MVL Convention Hascon Exclusive 1)

Grey Hulk (MVL Convention Hascon Exclusive 2)

Just piping in here....in my opinion, the green Hulk in that 2 pack is to this point for Marvel Legends, the definitive comic book Hulk. I think you'll be very pleased with it (I'm not a big Hulk fan either but if I have him, I want him to be correct, and this one certainly is!) and its a good buy.

Off topic, but this Bryne era really makes me remember the all red Samson outfit....not a hit with everyone, but I loved that...hope they'll make that version soon!

I'm glad to hear this figure will be available on the usual online retailers as it's a Fan Channel thing.   I plan to preorder as soon as it's available.

I don't mind waiting another month to pre-order, glad this won't be difficult to get. Need this in my collection!

    • King & Queen: Black Bolt / Medusa - these two need to be redone Evolution: Mar-Vell / Captain Marvel - first appearance Mar-Vell in green and white Kree warrior outfit; other is red and blue Nega-bands costume with interchangeable head for white/blonde hair Enemies: Doctor Strange / Baron Mordo Heroes for Hire: Power Man / Iron Fist - classic versions of Luke Cage and Danny Rand  Nightwing Restorations: Misty Knight / Colleen Wing  West Coast Avengers: Tigra / Wonder Man - red jacket and sunglasses version of Simon Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: male / female - two bodies in tactical blue and gray uniforms, interchangeable heads to create Jimmy Woo, Jasper Sitwell, Clay Quartermain, Phil Coulson (male), and Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Maria Hill, Sharon Carter, Melinda May (female)   There are so, so, soooo many more I could come up with. I also really like the idea of army builder packs for the Skrulls, the Kree, the Mindless Ones, the Leader's Humanoids, Hydra, A.I.M., etc.
    • I love that the Fantastic Four are getting their own wave(s), but I prefer classic looks to modern. Since the Walgreen's exclusive gave us the retro/classic look for Reed and Sue, I'd like to see the other iconic design, the blue and white costumes designed by John Byrne, made famous in the '80s and '90s and in the unreleased Roger Corman movie.   Wave 2 Mister Fantastic - with bendy wire stretchable torso; arms and legs would be good, too, but torso is a must She-Hulk - Fantastic Four costume Mole Man - 3 1/2 inches tall, comes with 2 moloid creatures the size of a Marvel Universe figure Super-Skrull The Wizard Paste-Pot Pete BAF - Annihilus Wave 3 Invisible Woman - in costume, translucent shield effect like the new toy has Human Torch - Johnny Storm in costume, attachable flame effects Namor - reissue with cape and crown, alternate head with more comic-accurate hair and eyebrows Skrull Scientist Mad Thinker Invisible Woman - translucent BAF - Awesome Android Wave 4 Human Torch - flamed on, red body, black lines, yellowish flame effects Crystal - classic yellow Inhumans look Triton -  Diablo Puppet Master Blastaar BAF - Dragon Man Wave 5 Thing - with blue pants Gorgon Triton Titania Firelord Impossible Man BAF - Ronan the Accuser
    • TF is not one franchise it is at least four franchises at the moment.  Also no that they are doing the main members there is no need to release them again in the next wave. They should go back to the old He-Man idea and release main characters once a year, not every wave or in some cases two in every wave
    • True, but I could argue that Transformers is ONE franchise, and you may get 4 or 5 more waves throughout a given year. FF is only one of MANY franchises under the Marvel banner, every one of which must be serviced. There's no guarantee there will be another FF wave anytime soon, so you have to get your big guns up there right off. That's probably why, after waiting so long, Hasbro is suddenly hitting us with 90s X-Men left and right. Lord knows when we'll get another X-Wave.
