What Are Tom Holland And Robert Downey Jr. Trying To Tell Us???

Actor Tom Holland (Perter Parker/Spider-Man) posted this series of images to his personal Instagram page showing images of himself Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man/Tony Stark) last night. I am not entirely sure what the message he is trying to send here, but perhaps its meant to be a single that all hope is not lost for Spider-Man remaining in the MCU.

This week reports have been coming out that negotiations between Sony who currently holds the rights to Marvel's Spider-Man and Disney who owns Marvel had fallen apart, and that Spider-Man would no longer be part of the overall Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also meant Sony would know longer receive input from Marvel for their own Marvel based movies.

well the latest rumour is that they have signed a 7 movie deal for Spider-man. Probably be confirmed for this weekend.

IDK about 7 movie, but these images almost def suggest some kind of arrangement has been reached. As I figured all this was being played out in the public eye as a negotiating tactic and prob for publicity to.

There's a man with a deer's head in the picture in the back. They're trying to tell us Bojack Norseman(Beta Ray Bill) is coming to the MCU. Clearly.

Wait... what Spider-Man figure is that that RDJ's holding??  It's got some points of pretty modern articulation (swivel-hinge shoulders, bicep swivel, ab crunch), and very modern style of how they're well integrated into the sculpt, but also only single hinge elbows, and the paint scheme on the face looks like a knockoff????  It's completely stumping me.

that is weird! I just zoomed in and looked at it and I am clueless

Marvel Select Superior Spider-Man.  I think it is (or was) a Disney Store Exclusive.

I just read on another news source that Sony and Disney made a deal and Spidey gets to stay. I hope its not fake news. Anybody else hear anything?

Haven't heard anything, Feige and Holland's comments at D23 seems to suggest it is over
