Yes, I had no intention of buying this faux Doom/Iron Man because I knew the real thing was coming down the pipe. I'm glad he's finally here. I will say that looking at the pics, I was concerned that the tunic (especially when you compare how long it is; longer than the comics usually show it and certainly longer than the previous Hasbro version) would hamper leg movement, but they cut a seam in there and it looks great. I think they heard us! Also like the jet pack underneath the cloak; if they had a head where you could take the faceplate off to reveal the hideous visage behind it, even better.

Dr Doom has always been, to me, Marvel's greatest super villain. And when Star Wars came out I couldn't help but notice the similarities- brilliant powerful psychopaths who wear armor, are scarred, and total bad a$$es....

When the wave was announced I was thinking I will be getting only the Dr. Doom, as I already have my Walgreens Fantastic 4. Now, looking at the reviews, I'm totally psyched to get the whole wave.

And yes, this Dr.Doom looks amazing. Can't wait to get it in my hands. I'm only afraid that because it looks so good, I wont be able to find it till February.

One of the few I can grab of marvel legends coming out. Im glad I preordered him on amazon along with Vulture from the demo wave. Been wanting a better Doom for forever and have only had the toybiz one which is very out of date. I do love the TB doom bot option tho. Wish this one had some form of that with it.

I got a notice today that  Entertainment Earth is processing my Doom pre-order. This figure looks amazing, can’t wait to add him.

Wonder if the Victor Von Doom head from the Iron Doom fig fits this body? Sorry if the video showed this, I just looked at pics and posted.

This will be my first Doom since the  5” Toy Biz Marvel Super Heroes line that pre dated Legends. Before that it was the Mattel Secret Wars Doom. I’ve expanded my collection from strictly Avengers related characters to include some I’ve declared were to great to pass up. These include Ghost Rider, Kingpin, and soon Doom

John Byrne always did draw a bad ass Dr Doom! His run on FF is my favorite all time. When I think of "Doombots", I think of the human sized Sentinel looking ones, not his robot duplicates. I'd rather army build a bunch of these 6' scaled Doombots!  Doom would mostly just use replica's of himself when visiting other countries on political missions in case of an assassination attempt.

I am extremely excited to finally get this figure, looks amazing, and exactly what I hoped for in a modern ML Doom, Hasbro has done it, only thing I'm kinda on the fence about is the rockets on his back, didn't seem necessary personally kinda takes it down a wee notch aesthetically for me

They  did it on the toybiz version...and yeah he does rarely use them in the comics...still, he actually does have them. I thought it was a nice touch.

What? On the fence out about his comic accurate jet packs? They are pretty hidden by the cape anyways? I feel like this is nit pick just to nit pick.

I personally am glad that they went the extra distance and didn't skimp out and made a figure that can be used for classic and modern.

It's not like is causes great displeasure to me, but I do feel as though I personally wouldn't have included them, because they are obscured by the cape , it's infact nice for all of those who want as much as they can get out of a figure to have them added, but you are not going to see them inless you take the cape of which doesn't seem like something most people would desire, It's an amazing figure I'm not trying to be discouraging just making a personal statement. This figure it's wonderful and I couldn't be happier to see that it's everything I've wanted in a Doom ML

Since when are we asking for less detail from Hasbro? If Hasbro didn't include them, collectors would have been asking for them. The cape hides the jets pretty completely. I'm just not sure why something you wont even see is the part you are on the fence about.
