Sif is a character they could explore deeper in her own book. A solid bad as character the hasn't been diluted by being impersonated by 15 other people wearing the costume...

I know there's probably some deeper meaning built into this storyline somewhere, but shouldn't Thor be able to walk right through Sif with both arms and legs and eyeballs tied behind his back even without the Power Cosmic? Maybe it's some kinda Batman vs. Superman ambush and strategy type battle. I'm interested if only to find out how they plan to sell exactly how Sif can even stand in battle with Thor.

In the cover image, she doesn't look like she's even paying attention to Thor. She seems to be scared of something on the other side of the viewer's perspective, so you might be onto something.
