Recommended Posts

Hasbro today announced that they are back the monochrome Tiger Electronics LCD handheld games from the 90's which includes an X-Men title. This will cost $14.99. You will need to get two AA batteries to power this bad boy, know USB charging here.

Other titles they are doing include The Little Mermaid, Transformers: Generation 2, X-Men Project X, and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. These will be sold at Gamestop.

and Oh goodness, are we really in a state of nostalgia overload to the point anyone would want to have these again? they were terrible then and even more terrible now, surely nobody wants to attempt to play these horrors, maybe look at them on a shelf sure I guess.... ugh

If they were more than $15 I might agree with the comments in here.

$15 seems like about what these might be worth. They may have been garbage compared to a gameboy or the like, but they were a heck of a lot less expensive and I still spent many an hour wasting time on them.

But no, I won't be buying nowadays.

I might be in for one.  Still play my old Chip n Dale from time to time.  Takes me back to a simpler time.  Games don't have to be state of the art to be fun.

Never knew there was a TF game. I had the Power Rangers and Sonic 3 games. They were fun. I remember with the Power Ranger game you could actually stop the monsters from growing by grabbing Lord Zedd's growth potion.

15 bucks is still too much for my nostalgia with these things especially nowadays with better offerings on nostalgia and gaming. Also gamestop exclusive?! hell nah.

It mentions they will use standard AA batteries like the originals

I’ve always been interested in playing those after seeing the ads in my comics. I might just go to GameStop for one, but with the great Marvel Legends coming out I doubt I have the extra money to get one. Kinda lame that batteries are not included with it being $14.99
