Most Wanted Complete wardrobe?

Something over on the Classic Vs Modern got me thinking of is what character I would want to have a complete wardrobe of. As many people know I run the Nearcompleteset website and I love looking at all the costumes that have been made and those that haven't. It has pretty much made what I like to called a Wardrobe Completetist. 

So I got thinking if Hasbro was only to release one character and do every costume ever for that character, who would I want? Who would we all want?

For myself, I actually had a hard time decided between Iron Man (for an Armory Display) or Spider-man, because he is my favourite character.

What about you? What character do you want Hasbro to complete their entire costume gallery? I would say it should be someone that has already been done but it's up to you.

Wasp!  (Just kidding.)

Iron Man and Spidey are the obvious answers.  Iron Man because his wardrobe is his super power.  Spider-Man because he's one of the very few characters popular enough to support such an endeavour.

I suggest the Hulk.  He's got a lot of cool looks and most to all of them are distinct and interesting to me.  Additionally, I'd support an effort on this front for The Fantastic Four.

I think I'll go with MCU Quicksilver. There's only a couple of outfits he wears throughout the movie, so it would be pretty easy to pull this off and just buy 2 and call it a day. 

Seriously though, I don't think I'd want to buy every costume for any character. Maybe MCU Iron Man with the house party protocol and the hope of making an Armory Workshop display, but that's a HUGE maybe.

I’d probably go with Iron Man on that one. Not because I like all the suits but I do like a good chunk of them.

The one that's jumping out at me is Colossus. I'm a big fan of a lot of his looks, and he's had a surprising amount of interesting variety. We already have his first-appearance look and one of his more modern looks, but what about acolyte? Horseman? 80s more Soviet-looking red and white? Juggernaut? Age of Apocalypse? Battle of the Atom future? Surprising amount of depth.

Ironically, his on-again off-again love interest Kitty Pryde would get my vote for definitely not fleshing out her full wardrobe.

Otherwise, I can't really think of anyone else with a lot of great looks and few, if any, bad ones. Rogue? I'd say Psylocke, but I just don't care for her early pink baggy look or her Captain Britain looks. Storm? Cable? Bishop?

dear god man. are you insane? lol we would never be able to finish wasp even if it's the only character they ever release. I mean i refused to list all her costumes on my site instead had to go to fan site....................................that had over ten pages of 20 costumes each!!! without the more modern ones.

Check out just a sample of the Wasps many costumes. she forms a border all around the poster. Good luck getting all versions haha

Also that poster has quite a few variant looks that would be nice immortalized as Legends. 

Does a leather jacket over costume constitute a new costume ( haha of course it doesn't) But take a good look at how many are wearing a jacket or vest) 

Falcon would be a good candidate as someone who usually is in one or two variants. He has had many that haven't been made

in that poster alone you can see Falcon, Rage, Hercules, Namor, Wonder man, Crystal, and Dr Druid in looks that many would not consider their classic attire but can add to the idea of completing uniforms

Original X-factor's Cyclops/Jean Grey/Iceman/Beast/Angel....It be cool to have the alternate universe version of this character's as well...

Beast's actually a great choice. He's had a lot of variety, and most of his looks have been good. Jean and Iceman are a little too hit or miss for me, in general, but I'd be all over some Ice-Wizard. We almost have all Cyclops's major looks already. If we were to get an updated Astonishing costume, all we'd really have left would be his Dawn of X look. Angel's a good call too, I think, but man, is his late 60s yellow, blue, and red costume rough. I wonder if we'd ever get his bazooka. 🙂

Lol!  Yeah, even as much as a completionist as I am, I'd have to say that way lies madness.  Don't get me wrong, she's maybe tied with Hawkeye for my second favorite Avenger (after Cap), and she is seriously underrepresented Legends-wise, to date.  I think she could have a new version in every Avengers wave for a while and I wouldn't get tired of seeing her.  A while ago, as part of a much larger project, I drew up my list of costumes she should have figures of and gave each one a unique name to help keep track.  I wanted to represent a breadth and depth of her looks over the years, making sure to hit the iconic and the tacky alike (and yeah, one just for the sex appeal).  Each one comes with a little miniature version of that costumed figure in flight that can attach to another figure's back hole, like Toybiz did with that mini Hank Pym Yellowjacket that came with Legendary Riders Wonder Man.

Hulk (Mr. Fixit, Prof Hulk, Maestro, Grey, Green, World Breaker etc) so that way I would never feel like I'm buying the same one twice

And since they'll keep cranking out Spider-Man variants no matter what I'll count him as an honorable mention, not because I don't want to complete his wardrobe, but because Hasbro will keep chipping away at that goal no matter what.
