Funko revealed new POP! Vinyl figures to help celebrate the X-Men Movie 20th Anniversary. Look for figures of Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto, Storm and Mystique from the first movie. From the second and third movie they are doing Logan, Dark Phoenix, Beast, Cyclops, Rogue and Nightcrawler. For store exclusives look for a metallic Mystique at Target and metallic Magneto at Walmart.

What's with the huge amount of Fox X-Men stuff this year? Yes, 20th. Anniversary, but I think most people would rather see these figures peppered in, especially as it relates to Legends, not just dumped en masse. I feel like they're assuming the nostalgia will be stronger than it probably is- still, I'll probably get Magneto, and maybe 1 or 2 others of these Pop! figures.

My thoughts exactly. It seems like as soon as Disney bought Fox BAM! Fox X-Men toys in your face.

Nostalgia is a powerful marketing tool, never underestimate it

These will sell better than any of the other MCU licensees not named Iron Man, Cap and a few others. Remember how that Billion Dollar Movie-starrer Captain Marvel wave peg warmed?
