Pass for me in artist inspired Legends. Aside from an inspired head from certain artists I want my Legends to have the same feel, as in artist neutral.

Before legends, ToyBiz released so many different scales, appearances etc. depending  on the line my collection looked like a hodgepodge of different toy lines... no thanks.

I would love to see McFarlane-inspired figures as part of perhaps a Legends "sub-line"---perhaps Haz could do it like they added in the Jim Lee figures?  It would take a few years, though.  Or maybe do a (ridiculously expensive and hard to obtain) SDCC exclusive set?

I think his artwork looks nice, but using his style consulting him would not be cool, like his DC line he is not doing it justice, hopefully, that can change. I wish Hasbro can take the DC line, wouldn't that be something.

I'm laughing here, as your post reminds me of the time back in the 80s when Warner bros floated the idea to sell off their DC characters to Marvel. Imagine if that deal had actually gone through. Then Hasbro doing DC figures wouldn't be an issue at all!

Cool Idea, but I'd pass, I like the unison that the current figures have, they look good together with the similar design styles, It would break that up if there was artist versions of characters, maybe if it was a subline, but I'm good without it

DC Direct has an artist line and they look ok, it really is easy to tell the difference between artists. But these lines by nature are limited to the characters that the artist have drawn. Any many times, the same characters are represented by different artists. An odd choice by the company to release 2 or 3 Aquaman, Superman etc with the only  difference being artistic style.

plus an Ed McGuiness Superman does not look right on the shelf next to  Jim Lee Batman. This goes to my earlier point of the artists version making for a too diverse style, making the collection visually unappealing..

I like these "What If" threads. Some really interesting ideas.

I like the idea generally. McFarlane was a good artist, so making a figure based on his art would work.

The new Beast definitely looks Jim Lee inspired.

We need a Meltdown-art inspired Wolverine!

Sure, here in the forums they're great, BUT on the front page? They just smack of lazy writing and not having anything better to say. This is Toy NEWS International after all.

You almost never see ESPN interrupt sports reporting with "What if the NFL began using bionic super-athletes?"

LOL this isnt ESPN, though enjoy the coverage of people sitting around playing sports video games over there. These types of stories are actually some of the most read stories we publish and I base that on site statistics not on comments that per usual are based on nothing but your own personal opinion and your constant desire to try and troll. You are right though it is a good topic for discussion here on the forums and stories like this help bring people from the main page to the forums, giving them something to discuss. When you start running your own websites though feel free to run them how you see fit and please feel free to come back and share with us how it goes.

I think this would be very cool. When he posted that on IG I started imagining what Marvel figures from him would look like. I think Spidey would definitely get as much love as the MK 11 Spawn same with Wolverine.
