We told you this figure was coming earlier this month and now its started hitting shelves at Target. It's the Marvel Legends Spider-Man Retro 6" Spider-Man in the Negative Zone figure which was discovered by Kyle on Facebook at a Target in Aurora CO. It's not fully confirmed, but this is likely a Target store exclusive like the Cyborg Spider-Man.

I thought with not only Retro Card Spidey on the double-torso-joint version of the Sunfire body, but also Cyborg Spidey on the normal version of it, that Pizza Spidey was retired (at least for Spidey figures).

This is one of a few Spidey costumes I'm not really familiar with, but it looks cool, and definitely an instant buy along with Cyborg. I can never get too many Spider-Man figures. I wonder if we're supposed to see all 4 Target exclusives go up for pre-order tomorrow or if these will just be in store.

Negative Pizza is funny but he does look too simplistic, I wish they painted on weblines, or at least gave him more metallic paint job or  Hasbro's traditional color injected shiny plastic or even some form of shading? Either way anything but flat colors would give him more dimension but he could look better in hand.

well it's not really wrong. Though I think the white should be more grey.

Great, back to the old crappy Pizza Spidey mold. That pizza slice looks more like polka dots than anything. Was that really necessary? Even though I will not be purchasing the figure, I do wish it had an interchangeable head, regardless.

Man something about this Negative Spidey looks super cheap from these photos, the head looks huge  and eyes look off and so poorly composed on the bland black head, I don't know about that one. I gotta see it in person to really decide though, Also negative zone pizza... what the hell man, thats just dumb, what's he doing with that , that's one for the worst and pointless accessories thread*smh*

I'm just glad to see Spider-Man on the correct buck. As much as people seem to not like this mold, it is more accurate. Both the suddenly nauseatingly overused Sunfire buck and the superposable (Buscema) Spidey buck are too big. Again, very good bucks, but Spidey should not be as big as the likes of Moon Knight or Deadpool. They need to make a distinction between those two molds because if/when Tarantula finally comes out I assume he will be on the Sunfire buck which will scale accurate to the comics. The Pizza Spidey mold is still solid and still has superior poseability to others and if anything, they need to smooth out those upper thigh joints so they transition more smoothly into the hips. And possibly do some different hands and feet for non-Spidey characters. 

This figure does have the look of an unpainted prototype, though. Just a bit of grey wash woulda gone a long way to making this thing look a lot better.

Not a fan. These Spidey variants have run their course.id rather see the many supporting cast at this point. The last two, cyborg and Negative zone are just unappealing IMO. Time to get the Sin Eaters, Rose, really any one other than these obscure Spidey costumes..

They haven't run thier course, they have just began. They haven't done any of Ben's imagined designs yet

And the claim that Spidey is supposed to be slim, in the likeness of the pizza buck, is a totally subjective opinion. It just depends on the era/portrayal that you are use to... that is all.
