The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision (Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany), two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives — begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.

The series directed by Matt Shakman also marks the first series from Marvel Studios streaming exclusively on Disney+.

Joining the series as well are Kat Dennings, who reprises her role as Darcy Lewis from Marvel Studios' Thor and Thor: The Dark World; Randall Park, who reprises his role as Agent Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and The Wasp; and newcomers Kathryn Hahn, who plays their plucky neighbor, and Teyonah Parris, who plays the adult Monica Rambeau, who was first introduced in Captain Marvel.

starring   Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Kathryn Hahn, Teyonah Parris, Kat Dennings, Randall Park, Debra Jo Rupp, Fred Melamed

Release: January 15th, 2021 (Disney Plus)

Wow, looks like a total mind freak. Looking at this, I'm not so sure this world is a world of her making. It almost looks like she's in containment. Like something broke when she lost Vision and had an episode that made them realize she was too powerful not to be contained. This is probably gonna be the event that merges a few universes to bring X-Men and FF to the MCU. Not sure where I heard it, but the rumor is that it's supposed to turn out that she was a mutant the entire time. I bet Harkness has something to do with breaking her out of the simulation with intentions of using her for her own evil plans.

Whatever it is, I'm getting more and more intrigued.

Although I don't think it will happen, it would be an ironic twist on Wanda's "No More Mutants" moment from the comics if she was responsible for their creation in the MCU.

If i had to guess this is basically the same as the pleasant hill arc in the avengers, where shield used the code to brainwash villains in reform them, just with heros instead

That's kinda the train of thought I was on. Kinda reverse role.

I heard a rumor that Nightmare could be the main villain of this series as well as Doctor Strange 2, using Wanda’s grief to trap her in the dream dimension. That would be pretty cool. Regardless, I’m a huge fan of how whacky and trippy this show looks so far. Can’t wait for January.

No thanks,  Wanda doesn’t have to be responsible for mutants in the MCU.  Just leave that to Eternals or whenever the X-men appear.
